"Joyland" -New book by Steven King, inspired by Canobie Lake

So I stumbled across this:

I already knew Steven King released another one of his mystery themed books, this time about a haunted theme park. But I was kind of surprised to find out that he chose to use some aspects of Canobie Lake Park to use in his new book, "Joyland."

Being a loyal Canobie fan myself, I'm now a bit more interested about this book, and might end up reading it. So what do you guys think?

He'd have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for those meddlin' kids...

Is it set in Maine?

It says it takes place in a fictional park in North Carolina, so go with that

All I picture is Cujo riding Untamed and Pennywise selling Cotten Candy...

I also want to send Canobie Corkscrew to the Pet Semetary please!

Just FYI, currently its at 1/2 RR-price (to £3.99) in paperback in UK WHSmiths (think that they say they aren't doing an e-version for a while)

EDIT: and I read this last week ; was OK - more a rights-of-passage-plus-ghosts King book than a big-nasty King book (this is a good thing, got very tired of the small-spooky thing turns into the end-of-the-world storys). Very read-able, not particularly geeky (also a good thing).
