Jinma Officially Go Bonkers With New Inverted Model

The new inverted coaster from Jinma (ex Golden Horse) is officially the most insane thing I've seen this year.

The new ride at Fantawild Ziyang uses the same box track used in their recent launched coaster and flyer models but also features a Finnish Loop with a tunnel

This image of the layout is a mirror image from a different park coming next year but it shows the layout fairly nicely

What in the Wide World of Sports!?

Truly looks incredible, but to the Golden Horse experienced - hold any actual candle to ahem patented designs?

Interestingly as far as I know B&M don't own the parent on box track.
But In terms of how it rides, the reviews that I've seen of the flyer In Xi'an and the launched coaster in Hainan which both use the same track system have been resoundingly good.

We are in the strange situation where B&Ms are getting rougher and rougher and Jinmas getting smoother. I wonder if there will be a crossover point or if we've already reached it.

The shaping of everything is pretty out there. The whole sequence before the Finnish Loop looks pretty interesting.

I'd love to give this is a go.

Are you talking about roller coasters or the Chinese position in the global auto market? 😅

Agreed it's definitely jolting to see "knockoff" Golden Horse truly kicking the tires on genuine, novel inverted design. If it rides well, all the better for coaster design.

It's been interesting watching these manufacturers iterate on their designs as they moved from "copying" designs without the foundations of why and how they were designed that way originally, onto having that foundation and understanding the why and how of the shaping and layouts! Some of their earlier original designs had the individual elements but lacked the transitions and flow, now they seem to be getting those nailed down and polished with each new layout!

Potentially exciting times (depending on politics)!

The supports seem to suggest that’s going to be a very steep dive first drop, almost like a big version of Helios. Very intrigued to see the shaping once it’s up as it definitely looks odd. That Finnish loop looks like its going to pull some serious forces at the bottom…

I'm all for a resurgence in big inverts! I'm surprised we've not seen more bought from Vekoma! It's great to see both manufacturers come so far.

The track shaping is so wild, not only does the Finnish loop look wacky already, the twist from the half loop into it is so ridiculously gradual that it looks like a gentle flying coaster, but then suddenly the elements become tight again.

That is one crazy design! I love that they start to do their own thing now and come up with original designs.

However, I am not sure if I would ride it if I ever have the chance (I won't..). Maybe after watching some of the faces of the people coming of this thing ;)😅 The shaping and profiling seems just off to me..
The immelman (?) into the Finnish loop looks like their knockoff SLCs to me. Like the ' track is not smooth' video on YouTube. Looks like it will leave you hanging uncomfortably.
I am also confused by the zero-g roll. That one looks like a sit-down coaster. Isn't the track supposed to somewhat flatten out on an inverted zero-g roll, given that the train rotates around the track?
And as mentioned before, those positives on the Finnish loop look insane!!

I am very interested in this project. I hope I am wrong and it will ride well. I think it will be good for the industry, but I am always conflicted with Jinma doing well, given the way they operated in the past. Conflicted, but very much interested!
