Iron Horse

Antinos

Slut for Spinners
I was working on this during my spare time the past few weeks, and I think it turned out pretty nice. Iron Horse is a 200 foot Plug n' Play that's over a mile long. The ride has nine airtime hills, four 90* turns, one rose bowl helix, and tons and tons of head choppers. I tried to combine different aspects of El Toro, Balder, and Colossus on a large scale while throwing some other elements in there. Without further ado...

Enjoy!

Yet another great No Limits production. looks great, but how are the G's on the Rose Bowl? Looks kind of intense. Great otherwise. :--D

I liked it, pretty good coaster, mostly smooth with a couple of bumps here and there. Really liked the layout, but the g's were a wild in places. 8/10

The pacing was spot on!! Well done there! Nice mix of corners to hills. Bumps within realism so thats fine. Not sure on the Rose Bowl, but nice to see a different element!

8.5/10.

I really loved this!

Perfect pacing, didn't seem to let up speed at all, which is good! I loved the layout also, as A-Kid said, perfect mix of Hills to corners.

A few bumps, but they seemed realistic.

Well done, 9/10!

Great fun coaster. Superb pacing and a great layout. Would love to be able to ride this if it was built in real life.
9/10

Just one thing. Brakes and station should be slightly inclined and not level with each other. Makes it more realistic as there would be no need for transport curves.

^From what I remember, Plug n' Plays have flat brake run and station track. If I'm mistaken, it's barely inclined at all.

Thanks for all the comments though. I really appreciate it.

Really nice.

Some of the transitions did feel a bit jerky, but the layout was fast and well thought through, there was tonnes of airtime!

I really like this, although for some reason it felt almost a bit... well... unrealistic. It kept so much speed through the layout it just didn't feel right. It was however a lot of fun.

Nice work! If i have to give it a grade I'd say 7 or 8 out of ten.

Yeah, PnP woodies use transport sections, so therefore, that indicates a 0* slope ;)

Hmm, nice pacing, nice mix of elements, although some areas felt forceful, oh well :)

A solid 8/10 is what it deserves.

^ The wheels are there to be able to stop the trains, since magnetic brakes can't fully stop a train, even if the station were inclined.

Pretty much echoing what other people have said here, I really liked the way the layout mixed it up a bit, it didn't follow a repetitive pattern like balder or whatever, but actually had a lot of surprises (like that odd S bend hill) and felt well balanced.

Bonus points for posting a vid that just went straight to the POV instead of forcing me to sit through 5 minutes of ****y fly by shots from various angles (Other designers take note)

Edit: Why is "wan ky" picked up by the word filter, its not that bad is it?

^Remove the last letter, and you sit with a quite nasty word (no LOL, Kim....).

Yeah, this was awesome. Awesome pace, great air, superb forces, nice and smooth... All in all, definitely one of the better woodies I have seen in NL.

Sexy. Really sexy actually. Not a huge fan of the bowl, as it reminds me of Son of Beast, and a few turns/hills were bumpy and some didn't flow well.

BUT! Overall, awesome. 8/10

Best woodie I have seen for a long time, love the first drop!!! :!: :!: :!: :--D :--D :--D
