Hi,

This is a little random, but I have wondered this since I joined. Why does Ian have a rporter as a Avatar.
Also what does Smoother than Alagiah mean? If it is inside joke, or private or something, I don't have to know. I was just curious.

Hey Josh This has been placed in the wrong section of the forum, but I'll let you off and a mod will either move or lock it soon.

To answer your question, any member can have anything as their avatar or as signature, it can be coaster related or not. Ian has chosen journalist and broadcaster George Alagiah as he somewhat has a man-crush on him it seems, and as Mod he has been able to change what is said beneath his avatar to suit his avatar and signature - these (including those of regular members) can be changed by Mods to reflect inside jokes or for more fun across the board.

For the full reason behind his love for George Alagiah, I suggest sending his a Private Message - I'm sure he'll give a witty and amusing explanation
