Hello everybody!
I'm gonna do this short.
Two of my friends and I have spent these last couple of days in Berlin attending the Euro Attractions Show 2012!
In this thread I'll post my photos and video interviews from the exciting event.
Day 1
We woke up very early on thursday, and with the heading set to Berlin we were on the road not having the slightest clue of what to expect from the next two days.
When we arrived and finally had found our parking spot, we walked to the huge entrance of Messe Berlin.
One of my friends and me had already registered from home which made the progress of getting inside to the show very easy. We just scanned our tickets on a computer which then afterwards printed our badge, then one of the friendly staff members helped you getting it attached to your keychain/neck thing.
My other friend didn't register from home which resulted in a frustrating wait of at least 30 minutes at the onsite registration booth.
When we finally were in it was like having got your wristband at a theme park, - we were just pure ready to conquer EAS!
EAS 12' entrance.
Me with my badge.
Checking our Maurer's booth.
They had a couple of nice models, and I LOVE models!
Vekoma.
S&S with new name.
S&S concept.
They've already sold two of these. One for myrtle beach and the other for Las Vegas.
Jora Vision was showing of their huge theme park project in poland, 'Adventure World Warsaw'
"Adventure World Warsaw" Water Park.
The theme park itself is divided into 5 sections, were the two sections closest to the entrance is open year round.
The ice covered mountain holds an snow scooter themed Vekoma Launch Coaster and to the left of that mountain is a 'Atlantis' dark ride that has a ride system that is still a secret. The huge building in the top right section holds a spinning coaster. And we were also told that the rapids ride will be intense and not for smaller children.
One of White Water's models.
White Water's 'FlowRider'
Don't ask me who makes this.
Gerstlauer's booth had a lot of cool models at display.
Do want!
Beautiful model.
It looked like this at almost every booth. Imagine how many brochure's we had at the end of each day!
Had to take a picture of the 'toilet paper booth'
ProSlide had some cool models too, - this is a Racing HydroMagnetic WaterCoaster!
More cool models.
I love this place already.
GCI had their 'Big Fun' model on display.
Working Ferris Wheel model at the Mondial booth.
Martin & Vlemnickx 'Fireball' model.
Interesting concept from 'Swiss Rides'
That was it for now, more photos and many videos to come!
Hope you are enjoying my report so far.
