How does Bizarro compare to EGF and Goliath (WH)?

After riding EGF I'm really curious what Bizarro is like and how it compares, since I really love both of the intamin mega coasters I've ridden.

Bizzaro is more "manufactured" than natural like EGF. They had a very clear run along the edge of the park for the ride, so it heads out with a very clearly defined set of hills designed for airtime. Up and down, up and down, up and down, turn around, up and down, up and down, etc.

Then it hits the bot of the park that was already there and crams in. That's when it gets really good with lots of diving turns and twists around bits that are in the way.

EGF had much less airtime, but I prefer the more natural and surprising flow of it (until compared to the end of Bizzaro). EGF finishes on a bit more of a high though. I loved both.

Maybe I caught EGF on a good day (it was 33 degrees so that might've helped), but I can't really imagine "much more airtime" (unless you mean more in terms of more hills, rather than stronger airtime over the hills?) without it being really uncomfortable. I already felt like my legs started to hurt after a couple of re-rides. Even the bunny hops at the end had massive ejector airtime while I've read that many people say it barely has any airtime.

EGF definitely has the most amount of airtime over the hills; massive amounts of ejector at the peaks of each hill and glorious floater on the way back down. That's why it's the perfect coaster. Bizarro is really good, and as Furie has stated has plenty of airtime, but, it has different restraints that make airtime painful unless you sit with your legs crossed. I assume Furie experienced the old restraints that feature on EGF.

So in comparison; EGF in my opinion is the best of the Intamin Mega's I've been on, followed by Bizarro and then Goliath. Goliath is still an excellent coaster and sits in my top 20, it just doesn't do enough to be compared with EGF and Bizarro.

Yep - exactly. More opportunities to experience the air.

Yeah, no pain on the restraints and it was exactly as you describe EGF here. Massive ejector and each hill and wonderful floater on the way down. Only MOAR!

I pity the poor sods who have had either on a bad day. Both are epic coasters and sit very happily in my top 1 and 2 steel slots where I think they'll stay for a long time (especially if I never ride them again ).

I rode Bizarro yesterday and I think it is quite different to both EGF and Goliath in a way. It is longer and I echo those who have said that is more moments of air. BUT, it doesn't have anywhere near as strong ejector airtime as Goliath and EGF, with the exception being the third airtime hill before going through the rings which stood for its intensity. Also, the first drop didn't feel as steep as on the other two. They're all really great coasters, but IMO Goliath and EGF are a cut above Bizaro.

I really hope to ride each of these at some point. For me, I cannot imagine anything better than MF. Of course, riding I-305 was great this past month. Without riding Nitro, Bizarro, and EGF, we put MF just above the intense I-305! I've ridden MF a number of times for 9 of the past 14 years, so I am sure that I've ridden it in every seat. We just went to KD to ride I-305, and we found it intense and solid in 9 of the 16 rows.

So, this makes me curious about Bizarro and EGF. I'm sure some rows/seats have more airtime and ejector airtime than others. Which seat is the best in your opinion?

On the live a couple of years ago, I went on bizarro at the back (once) and front (twice) - airtime wa spretty solid in both seats. EGF is definitely a ride it near the front coaster. Haven't ridden goliath yet!

Generally - Bizarro had aitime throughout, wheras I thought EGF was mpore a "coaster with some great moments".. The turns just spoil it for me!

If I put them in order, it would be:

1. EGF
2. Bizzaro
3. Goliath

There's not a massive difference between 1 and 2 in terms of personal preference, and all three are excellent coasters.

You may well be pleasantly surprised. Not many people I know rate MF higher than EGF, Bizarro or Goliath. MF is all about the drop and the speed, EGF etc. Are all about the airtime. Quite simply, MF is very different to the mega coasters. If you prefer big drops and speed over airtime then MF is your coaster. If you prefer airtime get yourself over to SFNE and say goodbye to MF from your top spot.

I personally rank them as follows;

1. EGF
2. Bizarro
3. Goliath
4. MF

All are brilliant coasters; 3 of them are in my top 10 steel and MF isn't too far out.

I do, however, I also love Bizarro so I'm surprised you have no love for EGF.

Maybe I got it on an incredible run? If you look at the comments above; Gavin and Furie also have it as their top steel coaster, as do most of the others from the 2012 Live. Maybe EGF needs a wet day in June to be at it's prime?

Nah, I don't think so. I went on a wet day in early July 2012 and I actually thought it wasn't running quite as well as the previous year. I personally think it's all down to whether they have the trims on or not, which obviously can slow down the final bunny hills and that weird twisty thing after the first trim.

I always hear good things about EGF. I will say that I love speed, drops, and complete coaster experiences. For me, I love all coasters - smooth, rough, fast, semi-fast, tall, short. I don't discriminate. I will say that the road trip was interesting though. I personally think that I305 does not get as much love as MF and even Lev at CW. MF is still my top coaster because it is tall, fast, and has a lot of other elements. The airtime on some of the hills are nice. I305, however, has much more speed and is accurately depicted as a combination of the best of MF (speed and height) with the best of Maverick. We rode I305 as our last ride at KD and then drove 8.5 hours through the night to get to CP. Upon arrival, we immediately went to MF. While it is still our favorite coaster that we've ridden thus far, it was not as intense as 305. Going around that first overbank after first drop, our bodies were confused - waiting for the intense g-forces found on that first right hand turn on 305. But, MF is more of a complete ride.

Not to bombard this thread with even more rides, I find it really difficult to pick a favorite B&M hyper. Diamondback is taller, but that last trim brake can be frustrating. Sure, you get some different airtime depending on which seat you are in, we still seem to favor SFOG's Goliath. That might be because we have ridden it hundreds of times. We have been on Diamondback (KI) and Intimidator (Carowinds), but we have only been on each about 2 or three rides!

EGF was running quite well on a 34 degrees celcius day. I can't honestly imagine it running much better. I actually preferred it in the back, while I prefer Goliath in the front.
