Halloween Events

I'm pretty sure we had a topic like this last year, where people can post news about Halloween events that perhaps don't need their own topic, for example for smaller parks or parks that most of us won't get to.

Obviously, things like the Thorpe/Alton events need their own topics since they will get discussed at length and a large number of CFers will get to experience them, but if you have any news about events in other parks, please share it here.

I'll start off with the events in the two Hong Kong parks.

Hong Kong Disneyland

Thursdays-Sundays throughout October, the park will be open until 11pm (usually closes at 9pm)

This year they have a "Scream No More" challenge, with various checkpoints around the park, including the bigger rides and the Halloween attractions to "test your ability not to scream". No idea how this is going to work though.

The Ghost Galaxy overlay is back for Space Mountain.

Graves Academy - A school-themed horror walkthrough by the sounds of it.

Sideshow/Freakshow performers throughout the park.

Revenge of the Headless Horseman - another horror walkthrough

Chernobog statue - the theme this year is that Chernobog (from Fantasia?) has taken over the park.

Glow in the Park Parade.

It also looks like there's going to be some kind of statue/animatronic baby head thing (from the Toy Story film) in Toy Story Land, which could be very cool.

Ocean Park

Unlike previous years, where a separate admission ticket was required for the nighttime Halloween events, this year everything is included in a regular day ticket. I'm guessing this is due to competition with Disney.

Law Lan's Possessed Possessions - A horror attraction based in a possessed/haunted antique shop.

Murder Factory - Seems like a typical "blood and guts" horror walkthrough.

K-Pop Madness - Sounds like the basis is an "X Factor" style talent show, using Korean pop music, where the contestants sell their souls for fame.

Loads of different shows around the park.

Pumpkin Creation Lab - One of the world's biggest pumpkin festivals. Sounds like some of the pumpkins have faces projected onto them to make them come "alive".

Some weird "hunt the M&Ms before a monster catches you" game. **** knows.

Funtastic Funhouse - A more family-friendly walkthrough.

And the current advert for the Halloween events at the park, which I **** ing LOVE!

I'm going to try and get to both of these in early October, so I'll stick up some trip reports then.

Oh my god the Chernabog stuff for HKDL looks INSANE! Seems like they go a bit more hardcore than Disney parks usually do for Halloween? It's actually scary rather than 'cute spooky'.
