Day 1- Great Wolf Lodge
So it was my little cousin's 8th birthday on Saturday and me, my mom, my stepdad, and sister decided to go to Great Wolf Lodge with my aunt, my cousins, and my aunt's husband for a day of fun. Since it's right near Niagara Falls we decided we'd stay in Niagara Falls for the night as well. I got picked up around nine.
Since we got there way too early (at eleven when the water park didn't even open until one), we checked into our hotel.
Being an exterminator and an expert on insects, he checked the room for bed bugs. It was clear! Except there were about a million spiders, which didn't impress me.
We then got lunch at Subway.
Six inch roast beef sub with swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pickle, and sub sauce.
Then we drove down the street to Great Wolf Lodge where my aunt's husband was waiting for us. We went to the room to get our arm bands on, and to get into appropriate swimming gear, which for me was a black bikini that I think was probably a bit too small.
Then we headed to the water park.
Winter ran straight to the kids area, but we had to call her back because we had to meet with the rest of the fam.
I spotted them and ran up to say hi to Carson Jr, my little cousin <3
The best slide was the zip slide thing, it was amazing. Me and my aunt had hysterics the entire time around.
This was a fun one, too.
Kiddie slides.

I HAD to take a picture of that book as it was one of my favourite books growing up and I got so excited when I seen it, haha.
Fab lamps
I had to play spot the moose.
After cake, we went down to the game room.
I tied my stepdad 2-2 in air hockey.
Simulator times.

I'm a natural at this game, it's fab.
I did screw up a few times though.

The day was a fun day, the water park is much better than I expected. They have about 5 slides for babies, two for younger kids, a roller coaster slide, a toilet bowl slide, and four other huge tube slides. I missed out on two of the slides because it was really hard for me to climb the stairs with my leg and stuff (I had a falling accident trying to get in one of the dinghy things), so I tried to take it easy but it was still great to see the family and have a bit of fun. They also have a normal pool, a wave pool, a huge climbing area for kids, and a lazy river. It's a bit overpriced to spend the day but if you stay over night you pay about $300 for accomodations which includes admission for two days, etc.
We then went back to our hotel room, where me and my sister played snakes, which she won from the game room.
After playing snakes, we went to bed.
Day 2- Niagara Falls
Having been to Niagara Falls about a million times, we didn't spend too much time there in the morning, just a couple hours. We got up around eight, got ready, put all our stuff into the car, and headed off to Denny's for breakfast. Sadly, being in Niagara, it was hella overpriced at about $15-20 per person, so we quickly peaced out of Denny's and headed to Burger King.
Me and Winter in the morning.
Walking into Denny's.
Walking out of Denny's after about three minutes of sitting in there and realizing the menu was too expensive.
Burger King was much cheaper and still fab! I still got my pancakes, which is what I wanted.
Nom.
Then we went to Clifton Hill aka tourist trap central where we went in the Fun House with my sister, watched her play in this play place thing, took some pictures, went to Hershey world, went to the pipe shop for me to buy a pipe, and of course, went to the falls.
Fab bikini.
As tacky as it is, Clifton Hill still looks fab.
Tack-a-lack
Best Burger King ever.
Sky Wheel, which I went on before, and once was enough.
Spot the moose continued.
My favourite sign ever
This sign is cute, too.
Honestly like, the best fun house ever. Don't let the outside deceive you.. It's actually really long inside. Aside from the eight dollar price tag, it's epic.
I took this because I think it's the HORRIBLE wax museum Gavin did a trip report on like a year ago.
Guinness Museum
Obligatory Niagara Falls photo with the tallest man in the world
Rainbow Bridge, which I WILL cross this season to get my Martin's Fantasy Island creds.
Garden things, which are dead.
The American falls. Clearly inferior to the Horseshoe/Canadian falls, although it did look cool with the ice.
I SPY MARINELAND. Speaking of, I WILL get my stupid Dragon Mountain cred this year.
Me.
Ken and mom
It was teasing me.
Part of the Niagara skyline
Part of the Niagara skyline again
Soon enough I will be able to go into the Casino, woop.
Still haven't got this, but it's way overpriced and looks a bit crap. I also have seen it operating once out of like, the seven or eight times Ive been to Niagara falls.
RCMP!
Me as a moose.
Me at the Hershey store.
EUGH, I hate vultures </3
Then I got driven back to school, after stopping to eat at Swiss Chalet. It was a fun weekend!
