Good Places to Eat in Anaheim?

Waffleman

Mega Poster
Me and my brother (bezzzzzzzzzzzzer) were just watching Man vs Food, and we started talking about how we'd love to go to a "proper American" restaurant, and wondered if there were any good places to eat like that in Anaheim (preferably within walking distance of Disneyland).

'nuff said.
There are six locations between 2.5 to 5 miles from Disneyland.
There's also one two blocks away from Knott's Berry Farm (if you happen to be going there).

Not within walking distant, but about a 20 minute drive in Anaheim Hills is Slaters 50/50 which, in my opinion, is on par, or better than In-N-Out. You design your own burger and the burgers are weighed after they are cooked, so a 1/3 lb. burger is more like your typical half pound burger. Their signature is a 50% ground beef 50% ground bacon burger that is simply to die for. In 2 years, they have now opened two more, and are constantly being rated top burger in Southern California. The only problem is that the wait can get really bad. The original (in Anaheim Hills) bought out the company next door and expanded (in a strip mall of sorts) but the wait is still about 45 minutes minimum, but they do take reservations the last time I checked.

Ask the people who went on the live to WoF a few years ago about the bbq place I recommended, I recommend this place higher than that.

In-n-Out is VILE.

I think it's an American thing, cause when we went all the Americans were raving about how it's amazing, and the Brits were wondering which of the spotty teens had spunked in our burgers for it to taste like THAT.

This only has one answer...
