The show has barely begun & Dexter (Michael C Hall: Best Actor & John Lithgow: Best Supporting Actor) & Up (Best Animated Feature Film) have already won awards. Yay. :--D
Wish Anna Kendrick would have won, but Mo'nique did deserve it.
Can't wait to see what Martin Scorsese has to say.

Expect every single person who gives a speech to mention Haiti.. As if we don't know what's happening there already.

Oh and that over rated Precious to scoop it all up.

Up won another (Best Original Score) & so far no mentions of Haiti other than Nicole Kidman at the very beginning of the show.
I wanted Quentin Tarantino to win both Best Screenplay & Best Director for Inglourious Basterds - at least Christoph Waltz got Supporting Actor.
And Mad Men beat out Dexter as Best Drama Television Series. :(
I also have to admit that I'm alternately annoyed & pleased at how Ricky Gervais is robbing the Golden Globes out of any hope of resembling a classy affair. :P
To wrap up - The Hangover won for best Comedy Motion Picture, which should please Snoo. James Cameron got Best Director & Avatar won Best Film, Jeff Bridges won Best Actor (no suprise there) and Sandra Bullock beat out Gabourey Sidibe  (so much for tks' Precious prediction).
Oh, and I almost forgot - Glee won for best Television Comedy Series - which I'm sure pleases quite a few CFers.
Your thoughts?

I agree about Avatar. Awesome movie. And although I haven't seen the Hangover (which I will in the near future) the things I heard about it was good so I can't wait. What did Sandra Bullock win for? Blind Side?

Yep, Blind Side. Wonder how many will agree with you about Avatar?

Just about to put him right Jerry! ;)

Great news about Up! Was my favourite film last year I reckon.

I think it was good enough to get Best Film but what do I know? I'm a fourteen year old kid. :P

It's okay, so are the judges (clearly :P )

Mo'Nique shouldn't have been allowed near the building, let alone to win an award:
