Free fall and rollercoaster are mixed in Changzhou and Madrid

The world of theme parks and attractions is reinvented every year, parks need to innovate and promote themselves as unique, and this causes a constant evolution up to unimaginable extremes. Coasters’ manufacturers have always competed to offer new and attractive products to parks, getting to evolve dramatically. This sector used military technology in certain extreme acceleration roller coasters, in which a train propelled to high speed in a few seconds.

This is the evolution experienced by this world, which also created the flying coaster: roller coasters in which passengers were not sitting, but looking at the floor in order to increase the thrills on every trip. As the cost of this type of roller coasters is very high, parks will require an investment in the medium term, due to the amount of people that are attracted and the generated profits.

In 2015, a new model of roller coaster is going to mix two types of attractions that, so far, had only been seen in separate amusement parks. In a mixture of free fall rollercoaster through a revolutionary sensor system, the seats are going to be able to move on their own axis in an accurate and coordinated movement during the tour using robotic trains. This way, during the first fall (the highest and vertical) people are going to get a feeling of weightlessness, identical to that is experienced in a free fall attraction.

During the rest of the tour many thrills and G's forces are experienced. The disorientation that is produced by this spectacular attraction to passengers will be one of the most demanded by theme parks. Two theme parks, in China and Spain, are going to build a new coaster prototype that will provide exciting sensations.

Sounds interesting, source? Manufacturer?

Also sounds very similar to those S&S contraptions like X2 over at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Re: Freefall and rollercoaster are mixed in Changzhou and Ma

Yes an actual source would give this a shred of believably.

However ignoring the fact this is a bit suspicious (1st time poster, no source and no obvious press releases found through google)
As peep pointed out it sounds suspiciously like a 4D.. However Changzhou already has Dinoconda so unlikely. I'm going to file this one under "more info needed"

Re: Freefall and rollercoaster are mixed in Changzhou and Ma

I browse Spanish coaster forums dayly and I haven't read anyone talking about such a coaster. By the description, it sounds very much like a 4D coaster, but I don't think Parque Warner (or Parque de Atracciones de Madrid) have the budget to buy this.

I'll keep you posted if I find something new on this rumoured project.

Sounds more like a Robocoaster to me.

Re: Freefall and rollercoaster are mixed in Changzhou and Ma

Locked because of poorly-written s**te with nothing to back it up. If Spain gets a 4D coaster, let me know and I'll unlock it.

Sorry about it.
