Family coaster derails at Adlabs Imagica, India

From Screamscape:
According to the local news there was an accident on one of the new coasters at Adlabs Imagica. Based on the photo, the accident took place on the Bandits of Robin Hood coaster from I. E. Park, which is a family sized coaster. The coaster, which has been open for less than a year, apparently “skid off the rails” according to the article, and based on the picture, it looks like the back cars on the train suffered from a serious derail. One woman and her teenage daughter are reported as being injured. While there are a few I. E. Park coasters in a few smaller parks in Europe from the Italian company, they don’t appear to have sold a single model anywhere in the USA. After this accident on an almost brand new coaster, I have a feeling future sales may be down…

This is pretty appalling considering it's only been going for five minutes

Glad no one was seriously hurt.

The only other 2 versions of this ride are in the UK too. Will be interesting to see if it is an inherent fault with the ride.

"“We have always complied with the maintenance and operational procedures recommended by the manufacturers of every ride."

Seen the picture? It was the back two cars that completely derailed. The last one was rotated right more than 120-degrees and the car before it was rotated left about 70-degrees.

Twisty?

Yeah sorry, it was difficult to put in the picture as I was on my phone. Looks a pretty bad derailment. They were lucky it was low to the ground.

The two other models of this in existence are Runaway Timber Train at Landmark Forest and Switchback at Gulliver's Matlock Bath.

Cliffhanger at Blackgang is to all practical purposes the same as well.
