Election Day USA 2012 - Voting from Coast to Coaster

Today marks Election Day in the United States, specifically the general election for President. While so many fret over which states will go red or blue (red indicates a vote for the Republican candidate, blue the Democrat), I thought why not adapt the notion of red and blue to roller coasters. Picking your favorite of either color.

In general, which group of roller coasters get your vote - red or blue?

For instance, the red group features: Maverick, Storm Runner, Intimidator, etc.

The blue group: Millennium Force, Blue Fire, Leviathan, etc.

*for all intensive purposes; yes, Molly Orange is red.

I vote for Red / Republican.

Maverick < Blue Fire
Intimidator 305 < Leviathan
Storm Runner < Speed Monster

Of the notable coasters in my count that I particularly associate with red/blue:

41% are Red
38% are Blue
21% are both

That upsets me, and clearly doesn't mean the red ones are better.

PS. The phrase you're looking for is "For all intents and purposes". Your post is upsetting my pedantry gene.

Not in keeping with the spirit of the game at all, anyone who votes Republican deserves to be shot in the face with the gun they no doubt keep under their bed.

I'll make sure that I lock my gun in a safe before you come to my house then :)

I agree with Snoo on this one: brown for the woodies! But besides that, most of my very slim pickings in my top 10 are not red or blue; however, the majority left are red, so I vote red.

I'm just bored/intrigued enough to do the same thing. Though my CC is less than half yours, so... not quite as goon-ish.

33% Red
25% Blue
17% Centrist (Both)
25% Apolitical (Neither)

Not much correlation between that and my actual political inclinations. Shocker!

of my top 25 coasters with applicable colors:

32% blue
26% red
16% yellow
5% green
5% orange

I think because I belive in god and jesis the reds will win because god knows the good honest coasters and will make them win. The blue ones are obviously all muslim athiest terrorist who want to remove all our freedom and abort all our babies and let the homosexual sin overthrow our got given rights!
