Anyone use it?

It is a cloud server file sharing program that is extremely easy to use. I was introduced to it a couple of months ago and have loved it! It is free to use and comes with 2 GB of storage.

Syncing is extremely easy (which is the reason I love it so much), where all files that are dragged into your Dropbox folder in your Documents is automatically synced to online storage. You can access these files anytime anywhere via Dropbox's website, as well as syncing other computers with Dropbox to your account.

So if you want to check it out, CLICK HERE! Also, if you activate your account through the provided link, you get an additional 250 MB free! Woot!

I did actually hear about this and then never looked much further into it. Seems like a cool idea, if I ever sort out my files on my drives then I might set up an account one day to back-up important stuff.

I've been using it for about 12 months. All of NUCF is on it actually, as it means that I have a copy of all the work no matter where I am, or what PC I'm using.

Also have it on my phone so I have important documents with me at all times.

Then for transferring things like pictures back and forth it's excellent.

Everyone should have it... Especially from me ;)

Eh, let's be honest. We lead pretty boring lives that aren't really that interesting, and the computer files we produce are likewise.

I've had countless amounts of people trying to make me sign up for this, and I really haven't had the time nor patience to look into in properly create an account and then sort my data accordingly to be backed up.

However, seeming as though last year I lost every single picture I have ever taken due to me not having space to back them up I may...just may look into this.

But that won't bring my pictures back :(

I've been using it for a couple of months now, it's REALLY useful. It's great to be able to access my files at Uni, abroad, in fact, anywhere with an internet connection. It's so simple and easy to use. I'd recommend it to anyone.

It also saves time uploading NL tracks, pictures, files anything that I want to be able to share. :)

Also (Sorry for the double post), thanks to John and Andrew for signing up! Hurray for + 500 MB of storage! :)

If you don't click on mine, you don't love CoasterForce. It means I can't take that backup of the forums, so if things screw up and all the posts are lost, it's YOUR fault, not mine. The Youtube tag mod for the new forums? Sorry, couldn't fit in my drop box, it'll have to wait until I'm, at my netbook again in 2013...

You're your own worst enemies... Anyway, I don't need emotional blackmail ;)

^ Love the scare tactics.

I have found some cheap and easy ways to add even more space to your Dropbox!

In case you haven't already, check out this list of simple tasks (e.g. connect Dropbox with Facebook, follow Dropbox on Twitter) that will boost your account size.

Also, if you have a school email address (ending in .edu), by linking that email to your Dropbox, it doubles the credit for referrals! So instead of receiving 250 mbs, you receive 500.

And as always,

Hmmm, that last post seemed a bit too offensive, maybe worth a 48 hour ban...
