I think it may also be referred to as open-air stadium-style seating, but as Snoo said I'm not sure what the official name is, it varies as what they call it.

Cedar Fair refers to the trains on Behemoth, Diamondback, and Intimidator as "Open-air Stadium-style" seating, copying the "Stadium seating" terminology from Intamin's design.

If this is B&M endorsed, who knows.
