Denver?

Does anyone know if there is any news about denver getting a decent theme park. When six flags sold Elitch Gardens a while back they hinted that they were looking at buying a bunch of land out by the airport and creating their own park from scratch, but that fell threw with new management and debt. Is their any word for legit mile high coasters coming to Colorado?

I've never heard of any such rumours coming from around the Denver area. The only theme park there is Elitch Gardens, only it's not owned by Six Flags anymore. They've continued normal operations and there is no chance of another park. Info can be found here, here, or here.

Doubt it. Denver isn't really a big enough market with good enough weather to effectively market a brand new park.

It was in the Denver Post when Six Flags sold the park. Colorado has more sunny days then Hawaii, weird but its true. Its just unpredictable. Yeah I am dreaming ah well ...
