The reason why I haven't made another contest is that no one cared about the last one so I didn't bothered to continue...

So feel free to do whatever...
 
I am really interested in a contest, only I don't use 3D's so I feel like I would be limited if that was a requirement.
 
I'm always up for a contest. I'm always looking for new inspiration for rides.
 
When the new site comes out, if you'd want to loefet, we could do a site sponsored contest.. make a whole page and everything for ya.. and if no one gives a ****.. f them right? :D

I'd like to see NL contests again.. and I'd like to have NL again. Need to work on that.. lol
 
I really enjoyed the contests as well. Maybe if the first one was simple, like a hypercoaster or something to draw a lot of interest?
 
Yes, don't make something so complex, but not easy either. Height and length requirements generally make it fun, like a 130ft. max height and minimum 3500 ft. track length.
 
I like talking about them, lol.

So we have some simple ride with restrictions. Any more ideas?

Don't you think that's quite insulting?

I think loefet's contests were great and I entered every time that I had the time to make a coaster. I don't think there was anything wrong with the contests he created.

I can see what both of you mean. I'm sure Loefet won't take it personally.

When I was discussing the contests that Loefet ran (and I helped judge) with him we'd decided to try and move away from the boring style of here's the height limit, here's the length restriction and have 'x' number of inversions. That's why we tried to make them a bit more involved and more difficult.

They were meant as light-hearted, fun and creative contests, however no-one really showed an interest in them, so we packed it in.
 
maybe somthing like the "Wooden Dream" Contest you did a while ago, I don't mind having a certain space to build the coaster in, just not a very small space. Also please keep .3ds out of the template!!! I can never do contests cause I have a mac!!
