Hi, I was thinking of organising a trip to Cedar Point with some mates and wanted to know how to get there and estimated cost of a trip would be, (for example to stay at one of the on site hotels).

Getting there is easy. From Cleveland Hopkins Intl. Airport in Cleveland, Ohio, take Interstate 90 westbound to state route 2 till you start to see the signs for Cedar Point. From the airport you are only about 45 minutes away.

As far as hotels go, there are like 6 hotels within a mile of the park and these ones get you in an hour early and are all nice, the nicest hotel is called The Hotel Breakers, which is on the beach of Lake Erie, and you can take a beachside sidewalk to the beach entrance of Cedar Point. The beach is amazing and this is a wonderful hotel. The area is very, very easy to get around and the park is a sinch to navigate.

It'd be easier to get an idea of cost if we knew where you lived... It'd be more expensive coming from Australis than it would be from Sandusky you see...
