Lightwater Valley were tweeting last night saying they wanted a bungee off between Valley Mania, UK Park News, Air Gates, CF, Towers Times and ME!

Would you ever bungee jump?

I wouldn't do it, the idea of jumping off a platform is not my idea of fun. I was a but shakey at the top of the Scad Tower in Tivoli Friheden

I would. I've done a Scad Tower and I'm hopefully skydiving for my 21st. I'd be fine but as soon as I'm stood at the edge about to jump I'd start bricking it haha.

It's never really appealed to me. I've had the opportunity but decided against it. I don't know why, it's just one of those things that doesn't flick my switch.

I did the controlled jump from the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas but it felt really underwhelming. Ok, so it was a bit scary looking across the LV strip from 855ft up, but the sensation of the drop was pretty meh.

If LWV goes ahead with this then I'm sure CF could cobble together a few members to take part. How the hell do you have a bungee off? Keep increasing the height before somebody blouses out?

A massive, hell no from me (with expletives you can add at your own discretion). Sorry, but its just not my thing and the thought of just jumping off a crane scares the crap out of me.

100% agreed! I do any coasters, drop towers etc, and would probably do a bungee jump as well! But ferris wheels scares me at least the old, rusty ones that look way to undersupported! Especially when they start to swing ><

I've done it. It was horrible but brilliant at the same time.

I don't see the attraction of that whole ghetto jump-off-a-crane version though to be honest. That just screams of doing it for the sake of it and to say that you've done it rather than as an actual "experience".

Yeah, call me a snob, but doing it off a 250ft bridge, over a river, looking at North Korea is going to slightly trump doing it off a 75ft crane in a pub car park if I did it again over here.

So, no thanks.

I've always wanted to bungee jump and hopefully one day I'll find a nice location with a trusted and reliable bungee company and a reasonable charge and I'll do it.

...unless of course you require my services for the LWV jump
