Another New Attractions for Canada's Wonderland?

Fantastic news from Screamscape!

There are rumours that, in addition to Leviathan, Canada's Wonderland are adding another new attraction in 2012.

You'll all be desperately thrilled to hear that Cedar Fair's executives' imagination knows know bounds, and they're looking to add something called "Dinosaurs Alive", which sounds incredibly original and exciting!

Again, just a rumour at this point, though I've got a horrible sinking feeling that it's 100% true.

Gots one question...HOW IS THIS DAMN ATTRACTION BEING ADDED INTO ALL PARKS!?!

Seriously, I haven't really looked into it, but it just seems plain stupid ><

Switching between the hideouts'...

As a dino-geek, I wonder if It's worth sending CF a letter which consists of...

"Even I don't want to go to Dinosaurs Alive, and I love Dinosaurs. So why you think anyone else will give a damn is beyond me."

My thoughts exactly.

Again?

What is wrong with the guys at CF?

Can't they see the big 300ft coaster is already going to bring in loads of people and even if this is added at a later date it isn't gonna bring people in?
Basing this on the version at Drayton Manor, It is a rubbish attraction that I didn't even know was there until I had got bored with everyting else in the park and wondered into the zoo.

Now I understand why this attraction has been getting a lot of flack especially in this community, and the CGI really doesn't look that good but I basically see it as an IMAX style theater attraction that is meant for families. And while there is no way I would go to it, I do see why kids under 13 would really like it so unless it has been getting bad reviews with children, I see no reason that it's not a reasonable attraction to put in.

You're kidding me? And we're not allowed to rip stuff like this to shreds?

Oh, shame, etc. Dinosaurs, booo. Already wasting enough on Leviathan, are they totally thick etc.

Mod Edit: Haha, you may lol all you like but don't be vicious, agressive, or blatantly nasty. You're doing very well. Keep it up.

Sorry, but you have completely misunderstood what these attractions are

It's a dinosaur walkthrough "experience" using animatronics. The reason they're getting so much flack is because Cedar Fair is rolling them out at pretty much every one of their parks now. If you look at what Six Flags are doing next year compared to Cedar Fair, it's actually quite embarrassing how unimaginative and cheap they're being.

Every park is getting the exact same thing (hello Windseeker?), and they're having the audacity to charge extra for the priviledge. That's the sole reason they're rolling these out; to make a quick buck. Hopefully they'll reinvest the extra profits into better attractions in the next couple of years; that will be the only redeeming thing these lazy additions might have.

Alright alright. I get what you mean. And I understand the frustration about putting in the same flat ride at every park as well as this attraction. Trust me, right now Six Flags is looking much more attractive despite my love for Cedar Fair. But if it pays off in the end like you said, then I will be happy.

Please do that. Please please please do that.

The more they keep doing this is just more shame they bring to the Cedar Fair name, which until this year I have always loved and never seen a big problem with.
