Alton Towers day planner XD

Nemesis/air
Duel
RMT
Rapids
Flume
Oblivion
Hex
13
Rita
Oblivion
Oblivion
Oblivion
Nemesis
Nemesis
Nemesis
Nemesis
Nemesis
Maybe Spinball, but more likely Nemesis again.

I usually tend to head over to The Dark Forrest for opening. Have a go or two on Rita, then hit Th13teen whilst I'm there. After that, head round to Oblivion, seen as though it's close by. Then, I seem to just do whatever, usually all the smaller rides (Duel, Hex, Flume etc). Maybe even go over to Forbidden Valley at some point to have a quick go on Nemesis/Air.

The thing that I seem to do everytime I go though is to head back down to Forbidden Valley, around an hour before park close, to whore Nemesis for the last hour.

I usually always do the same rides in the same order when I go:

Head over to The Dark Forest: Do Th13teen/Rita.
Head over to The Forbidden Valley: Doing Hex and Battle Galleons along the way. Then ride Nemesis, then air, then Ripsaw (never bother with The Blade).
Head over to Katanga Canyon: Do Duel along the way. Then ride The Rapids, The Runaway Mine Train (if I can be arsed). Then go into Sea Life, again, if I can be arsed.
I then head over to X Sector: Ride Oblivion, then if the queues are short enough, do Enterprise and Submission.
Ride any rides that I want to do again, then hit Spinball on the way out of the park.

This way has always treated me well. Plus, I always get to Katanga Canyon around dinner time, so I can't complain really.

Hope it helped :)

Most of the time I follow the same itinerary:

Towers Street - Forbidden Valley:
Nemesis
Air

Dark Forest:
Rita
Th13teen

X Sector:
Oblivion
Oblivion
Oblivion

Adventure Land:
Sonic Spinball

Katanga Canyon:
RMT.

That's usually the order in which I do the rides/areas of the park. Depending on queue times and such, I'll usually do Nemesis and Oblivion at least three times each (they have the shortest queues whenever I go).

As the throughput on Th1rt33n is so good, I don't think it really matters when you do that. Rita gets big queues though, so just don't bother riding it. It's rubbish anyway. Then, go listen to the Hex music before doing 8 rides on Oblivion. Walk round via the kebab shop, then spend the rest of the day on Nemesis. Sorted.

What do I know? I can't remember the last time I actually queued for a ride at Alton.

Thanks I think Im going to go to the forbidden valley then dark forest and after that x sector doing rides along the way :D

The reality of our trip is actually as follows.

Mill around at guest services for an hour waiting to get spacker bands to save us queuing.
Argue about whether we go on Squirrel Nutty or over to Duel for 15 minutes.
Join the now two hour queue for Squirrel Nutty
Have a tantrum about walking all the way to Gloomy Wood
Distraction technique used and we look at the shark by Battle Galleons for half an hour.
Take half an hour to walk to Duel.
Duel 5 times.
Head to Katanga Canyon for RMT.
Head back to Duel for toilets.
Do Duel again.
Head to RMT and argue for half an hour about whether we should stand in a 20 minute disabled queue or join the 5 minute normal queue.
Join the disabled queue
Repeat for the Rapids
Down to Mutiny Bay for (late) lunch
Eat kebabs
Argue over whether to go on Rita, 13, Oblivion or Hex.
Leave because it's now midnight and security are sick of telling us the argument is pointless because the park has closed.
Return to go on the toilet.

When I go with the kids, it's even worse.

You had me LOL'ing at that point.

Generally always head round the park in an anticlockwise direction (missing out spinball whizzer or whatever the **** it's called now due to it being ****).

My top priority would be going for a massive turd at some point during the day.

I generally just opt for the style of the sea food diet (see food and eat it), and wander aimlessly, then see a coaster and get on, i never realy aim for peak times like this week alton has been empty, so every ride (bar th13teen and rita) is a walk on so i just get on whatever is in my line of sight

and to be fair furie, i would rather queue for two hours to ride squirell nutty than th13teen lol
