Advanced Custom Supports

I'm a beginner to this game. I tried to make a Dragster recreation. While the ride worked out right, the supports were horrendous. I was wondering how you make supports like the ones in this video. FFW to 1:09. The supports on my coaster were just straight down supports. No triangle shaped supports. So basically, how do you connect supports to eachother?

Custom supports.

They're hard, but they give you plenty of freedom to make some badass supporting.

Use free nodes! You can place them anywhere in the editor. However, when you make a joint, there will be a section of the support missing, so it will look funky. To solve this, you make the support extend beyond the joint, or you make a joint using another support beam of the same size.

Also, recreations are the most difficult NoLimits coasters to create. They require lots of ride time on the actual ride, and a ton of pictures from a lot of angles to help with element shapping. I have 4 years experience with NL, and I might be able to make an accurate-ish recreation of dragster. For ow, you should stick to making custom coasters, stuff your wild imagination can make :)

It takes time and practice, what I used to do was insert and element and then try add the support for every type of ride, be it Vekoma, B&M, Intamin just to get used to the various styles.

The TTD structure is quite simple until you get to the top where it starts to arc inwards.
