Has anybody ever visited Acadia up in the Bay of Fundy and the Gulf of Maine?
Being an adrenaline junkie, I love this place. I go hiking, trailrunning, and freeclimbing. The thrill of looking down a 1000 foot cliff with no safety lines or any form of restraint just surpasses anything I ever experienced at a theme park... with the exception of the unsafe ride on Giant Dipper at Santa Cruz
But its the height and danger of the thrill, and the reality that, if you screw up, you are going to die.
There is also an airport up there, where i took a aerobatic glider ride for 300$. Immelmanns, Cuban Eights, Barrel Rolls, Wing Overs, Loops, Nosedives, its the greatest rollercoaster you will ever ride. Where else can you drop over 9000 feet without skydiving?
It's just an amazing experience and I highly recommend it. I usually camp up there at a KOA every year, but i skipped this year and took a month off in Italia.
