Abandoned park to finally open

Zoomers Amusement Park in Fort Myers, FL is finally on course to open to the public.

The park went bankrupt in 2008 when construction was 95% complete, and never opened to the public. The rides that had been installed to that point have been sat unused ever since, many being subject to theft and vandalism in the meantime. Contractors have been working to restore the existing attractions to working order, and 3 new rides will shortly be installed. These are to include an "adult-sized rollercoaster... from Texas". Any ideas what it will be?

Work is expected to be completed by February.

It's all great that another theme park is opening in Florida, but I can see this being like freestyle music park-eg, closing not long after it's opening.

It's hardly boasts better attractions than some of the other parks nearby, with a tilt-a-whirl and adult go-karts (which I can't see being too popular!)

Saying that though, I can see small families coming here for half a day for relaxing. :--D
