Today I've concluded my amusement park year with a trip to a local fun fair.
Today was also the last school day in this calendar year. We didn't have any classes and the feel around the school was already more or less festive. After all the school celebrations were finished we went carting with some of my schoolmates. The carting track is located in the Ljubljana's biggest shopping centre, BTC City. After few laps of carting and lunch at nearby McCrap's we've each gone our own ways. Since I knew that there is a funfair at the other end of the shopping complex, I went there.
The fair is pretty small and they were said to have one coaster, a Pinfari Super Dragon. But it was not to be... Instead of it, they had this!
What the actual **** is this.
It's an oval shaped ride, probably a coaster...
So... It is a coaster, it has a train and it is powered by gravity (at least in some point...)
Well, it's definitely a weird and unusual ride. It's kind of a powered coaster, but not the whole way through. The rider experiences a tire driven launch every time he passes the station and you usually get 5 laps per ride. The thing was also awfully expensive for what it is (one ride was 4 euro).
I've also taken some few more pictures, but I didn't ride anything else there...
That's most probably it for this year. A below-average fair that concluded my coaster riding for this calendar year.
I may ride an alpine coaster tomorrow just to get this bland fair out of my head. Expect another trip report if I will.
This is my first trip report since I became a member of coaster force. If there are any grammatical errors, I apologise in advance (I'm not exactly fluent in English, so there may be some).
