Ohhhhhhh, HORRENDOUS WAKING UP TIMES!
The day started for me at 6:50 odd, which was not good considering I had a train to catch at 7:54 and am 30 minutes away from my station, but, with texts from Neal amusing me, the station was arrived at...
However, disaster, as my train to Crewe was delayed by 10 minutes, not a problem...
Then 20...
Then 30...
Then direct to Crewe...
This was due to signal and lights failures in the Tamworth area, although Neal as per wanted to blame the Germans, I said that Drayton Manor was a more likely prospect due to the jealousy of Towers being open and not itself, however, Stoke was achieved eventually, and Towers bus was ridden, to arrive and meet Neal exactly when the park gates opened... Horrah...

Oh yes, sorry Woodstock, you joined me on my journey to the rather foggy and misty Towers, which gave a rather awesome atmosphere to them...
A walk down the path towards Nemesis and we arrived in Valley to be greeted with... a closed testing ride... Ohhhhh THORPE?!
Nemesis Cat was a far more interesting proposition than a testing Nemesis, however it ran off before Neal got close to it, disappointing times, which were to be forgotten when Nemesis opened...
After a 5/10 minute queue due to a singular train, we elected to hit up Single Rider as it was open...
After 3 more goes, we walked towards Air, also on one train, so ran off to Duel, which was shut, and then decided it was time for me to see what Sonic Spinball was like...
Looks the same here...
Ohhhhh, Sonic no I do not want to feel the rush
My opinion on this has been posted elsewhere, so no need to repeat it here...
Neal was happy with Sonic though, however, Plastic Sonic is not as good as Flesh or even Metal Sonic...
After this, we walked up to the X ‘In need of a refresh’ Sector, which had a rather epic queue for Oblivion...
What amused more was the state of Enterprise however...
Then we as we walked up the Single Rider queue, an almighty CLUNK was heard, as Oblivion was stopped on the lift hill...
This was quickly remedied and after some faffing on my end, me and Neal ended in the same train as we had on Nemesis...
Hex was then done, with amusing confused lady sitting next to me, and then we attempted to have a lookie at Thirteen... Which is difficult tbh if you can’t really be arsed to go near fences and stuff like we were... However, here’s two pics for you...
The castle part looks great, a shame really it doesn’t continue all the way down the building... Rita looks interesting as well, but that’s all I have here...
After enthusiasting it up, lunch was required... As were grammatical errors...
Special internet cookies to those who point out the mistakes...
The poor grammar did not detract from the food, although the babies on either side of us looking at us sort of did, damn creepy kids...
During lunch, it started to snow, bringing my count of parks in the snow to a new round 2... And since Mine Train had a short queue, we elected for it...
Since snow is not the funnest of games on a really cold and bitter day, we elected Duel to be our next ride... As did many others it would seem...

We thought Nemesis in the snow would be a rather interesting experience, so we went there, however, it was not to be, as it was shut
They were testing it, and as we found out talking to the staff telling people it was shut, since Nemmie is old, it doesn’t agree with weather of this variety, and presents guests with rusty water and grease, as the second image shows, they tied a red scarf to see how much was coming off, and as long as it was snowing, it wasn’t going to open... Learnt something today at least...
Woodstock was not happy about this factor, nor about his shortness...
We looked at a rather closed Ripsaw to pass the time...
Then cut through Haunted Hollow in order to actually go on Sonic Spinball...

Snowy Towers does look nice...
Snowy Spinball though...
Woodstock seems to like Sonic, although he’s lost his voice somewhat...
After being banned from riding Spinball, Squirrel Nutty went crazy...
On our way out, we spotted Sonic, so pictures were taken...
And then, we saw Alton Bear!
And then that was it, time to go after a very cold but good day in the end...
