When I saw the footers in person, my first thought was a water ride. The footers of the 4 current corners are incredibly tight.
Can imagine Cobras lift hill and main structure being themed to a mountain/ volcano with a log flume/shoot the chute coming out of it into a nice splashdown. Would...
Yeah all the current piles are pretty close about 2-3 feet apart. If this is for a coaster then we’re probably looking at the break run/station or lift hill.
All 3 turns are pretty sharp, would either be a narrow gauge coaster or log flume.
Hi guys,
I was at Paulton's on Saturday and footers for the new 2026 ride are in progress and visible when riding Cobra. Most of the construction of the new footers are in and around Cobra, so looking like there will be some nice interaction between the two rides.
Footers that can been seen...
They actually own a lot of land, most of the woodland behind the new accommodation and the fields between the main road and the park itself.
Putting the accommodation so close to the park would make for a more immersive experience but would leave Paultons with little to no room for future...
It’s hiding the rest of the ride building. Also to give a buffer between themes for Tornado Springs and Ghostly Manor. Would have looked better 3D but can’t complain with how everything is looking overall.
The current construction area including Cobra and Edge is nearly double that of Tornado Springs. This will be the biggest investment to date for sure, will have to see what they announce if anything in May.
Rumour has it that the Vikings Area will open in Phases over two years, with the first...
Paultons park have updated their park map featuring the 2026 Vikings Area. The area highlighted by the park is smaller than the current construction works, whether this is an indication that the area where the go carts were will be part of another area or second phase is to be seen.

The park is designated as a “amusement park zone” by the New Forest council so they can build what they like within reason without submitting planning permission.
We saw them a couple years ago asking for the zone to be extended near Kobra which gave us the first hint they were planning...
With Christmas round the corner what is everyones Christmas Wish for the "Vikings Land" in 2026? What would you want to see unveiled at the next Super Fans event for 2025. What is your dream and realistic ideas. What coasters, water rides and supporting flats would you like to appear in the new...
I’ve thought about Paultons adding one of those also. Lawrence Mancey did say it would “surprise” people so I think it’ll be more thrilling then we are currently thinking.
Only time will tell, there will be definite clues in those posters that’s for sure!
A fully wooden gate would have sufficed, but they chose to tease or trick us.
What if the two metal bars is a hint at two coasters, the logo is inverted on one but normal on the other. Perhaps a dueling coaster where one track is family and one is thrill.
The image of the gate with the metal bars over the wooden stakes is giving me Junior RMC or GCI Titan vibes. Imagine max 100ft tall with a single barrel role, would be easy to theme to Vikings as well.
If you’ve seen the latest PP video from TPWW it really shows the scale of the plot of land...
