I’ve only managed one ride so it’s too soon to tell but it’s definitely up there. The first drop was insane and I couldn’t believe how much I was out of my seat. However stealths launch for me is going to be pretty hard to beat in the long run.
Wellll ****. So was it emptier later in the day? And was the park busy all round or just hyperia? Sorry for all the questions I haven’t been in about ten years so just want to plan it right!
Out of interest, is there a week or any confirmed school trip dates that the park run? Need to know when to avoid going. Hoping to go the week of the 3rd.
I get that it’s not always possible to go in a quiet day but I’m not a big enough enthusiast to queue for longer than 45mins to an hour. I’ll just go to a park on a work day to avoid crowds and keep my sanity.
Couldn’t agree more, I don’t know why people who haven’t been on it are saying claims of it being the best in the uk are “laughable”.
We’ve had a year or so to voice concerns over the layout, please stop regurgitating negativity in here for no good reason people.
Considering all the work going on with repaints it’s a shame they couldn’t make zodiac a bit more exciting again. They just posted a video of it on twitter and it’s such a downgrade of what it once was.
Rush (and slammer before it died), I really only got into theme parks in late 2004 so following the construction for them the following year was exciting, especially as they were world firsts. (Even if they were rarely open during their first season).
I don’t care for the design of the map, they’ve got a huge new coaster and we get an aerial view that just kind of flattens it.
Also miss the themed areas.
I wonder when they’ll get rid of slammer, I don’t know how long it would take but surely if it’s not done already, will it really be fully removed by opening.
