Busch Gardens Williamsburg Project 2021 - 355ft Height Waiver Filed

I wish you could but Griffon would have to be like 1000 feet tall. Its the James River but beautiful none-the-less.

Coasters that don't look like they should be particularly great (but are?)

Kumba looks pretty average from a POV and I thought it was the first time I rode in front row. Head to the back and my mind and testicles both exploded in excitement. Thing pulls some intense positives, crazy laterals and an ejector hill. Each inversion whips you around while remaining...

What are some of the best hangtime coasters?

Hey everyone on CoasterForce! I feel like hangtime is often overlooked by coaster fans and is just as fun as positive gs or ejector airtime for me. What do you think are some great coasters that focus on or have a couple memorable hangtime moments?

What was your first coaster to feature a launch?

Verbolten, also my first major coaster (it took me way to long to get on one).

Change My Mind | Intensity = Better

By intensity I mean like head hurting ejector and blood in the feet positive gs is my idea of a good time. Great point though Edward, thanks.

Change My Mind | Intensity = Better

IMO intense rides are more unique experiences (i305, Kumba, any RMC) than restrained rides that aim to be more comfortable (most B&Ms, Cheetah Hunt). I understand family coasters are important to a parks lineup but they won’t be in my top 10. However, recently I’ve been reading a lot of...

What impressed you the most in the past year?

I thought it was too at first, but the more I rode it, the more I liked it, and I’m a sucker for anything 50s, especially with such great theming.

Rides you rode in the opening season?

2012: Verbolten (one of the first rides of the soft open ) 2016: Mako 2018: Twisted Timbers

    Most polarising roller coasters

Mystery Mine. #2 at Dollywood for me.

    Your Least Common Opinion?

Coasters that stay closer to the ground are better because you can feel the speed more and they don’t have obnoxious FAA lights on the top of it that potentially kill the theme.

What impressed you the most in the past year?

Lightning Rod was my second RMC and blew me away compared to Twisted Timbers. That last element (forgot what its called) gave some exhilarating positive gs before ejecting me out of my seat, making it my favorite element on any coaster. I’m gonna get some crap for not liking the quad down better.

What are your favorite “clone/basic” coaster models?

Sky Rocket IIs provide great ejector air and hangtime, and if I remember right decent positive gs too. Now if only they were all like the zombie one in Mexico...
