Oh yeah, I didn’t spot that track at the bottom right. So yeah, it drops lower out the dive loop like in your drawing. Wonder if there will be a bunny hill on the launch then or just a flat launch? Hard to tell, would love some pictures from another angle! Hehe!
Also, I guess other competition...
My love of Mack rides weirdness just grows! That element on the right looks insane. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that this is a spinner...
Did a very quick doodle over the picture to show how I imagine the track will connect.. although really confused about the support structure on...
Best operations is 100% Europa park. Watching Voltron consistently cycle like absolute clockwork during my latest visit just blew my mind. And when you spend a lot of money on travelling and staying somewhere for a few days, it’s really great to feel like the park do everything in their power...
The pull out from the drop into the outerbank looks so tight and round! Might be some heavy positives there. And is it me or does the banking on the drop start a bit later than the wing over drop on lost gravity? That was already so whippy on a wing seat! This is going to be insane!
I am probably a little bit similar with Hyperia in all honesty. When I rode it, I ranked it as number 11, it’s now moved to number 12 as Voltron took my number 4 spot and moved everything down. Perhaps with Hyperia it’s because we’ve not had a coaster of that size built in the UK for a very long...
That outerbank! If it rides anything like Voltrons it will be amazing! Excited to see how this theming ends up, as its looking like it will be pretty extensive.
It’ll be interesting to hear more about this that may explain the decision. For example, if the cars swing or not etc, and what manoeuvres it’s capable of.
For me, the best thing about inverted coasters or flying coasters is that there is nothing beneath you. With this, you’ll still have a...
Like Hagrids at Universal IOA - with straddle type seating (although Hagrids also has the side car too.) I guess the point is they mean multi launch, with potential switch tracks, possible drop tracks etc. A really dynamic ride without it being unnecessarily out there. The seating arrangement...
Waiting to hear more before I pass judgement. Modern Vekoma is great so I’m sure it’ll ride beautifully… I just didn’t expect this to be their first choice >.<
I think that distinction is only because the tall coasters that are shuttle coasters tend to have the spike as the tallest point e.g. Superman at SFMM, Tower of Terror at Dreamworld.
While the structure is that tall, if you don't travel all the way to the top, whats the point for the rider...
Isn’t Funtime being held responsible for;
a) not showing up in court/not responding
b) it was found that if enough force was applied, their restraints could open up to an extra 3 inches which could have been a factor.
Obviously the majority of the blame still lies with those who manipulated...
I was at Tivoli yesterday and Dæmonen actually ended up opening closer to 4pm, for anyone going in the next few weeks. A queue did form outside from around 3:15pm onwards.
There’s quite a lot of space cleared below the whole of the ride pretty much, running from beneath the final brake run and...
Yeah it's a catwalk. You can see it in a few pictures released from the airtime hill/crane a while ago.
Also, every new picture I see of this just blows my mind. The fact that both Spitfire and Iron Rattler nearby are over 200 feet tall, but look so tiny is actually insane. Spitfire is pretty...
Agreed! We’ve had nemesis reborn advertised as a new experience, Hex reopening advertised as though managing to keep a ride open after 2 years of downtime is something to celebrate, the reopening of sub terra because nemesis was closed for a year.
That’s 3 experiences off the bat that are, to...
I'm really not understanding the hype about this. I get that any new flat is an improvement, but why get excited for Forbidden Valley to literally have the same line up as 10 years ago.
I actually think they would have been better off getting something completely different in its place...
They could potentially add a Titan track GCI that could invert. I'd love to see that, and think a GCI would be a perfect fit for Paultons. They are really fun exciting rides, but not so daunting to terrify the younger guests. Something slightly larger than Heidi or White Lightning with a single...
Finally had my first ride this morning… 3rd attempt at visiting and finally got to ride it. Thoughts pending but first impressions are great! Also, if anyone’s on park feel free to say hey, my friend had to bail last minute so will be in the single rider queue all day.. haha
Also recommend to leave red force till later in the day. Everyone tends to flood Ferrari land as soon as it opens, then crowds drop significantly later in the day as it’s not a big enough park to retain the crowds that long!
Have an amazing time man. Port Aventura is such a nice park, apart from the queue jumping/bad operations. Looking forward to hearing what you think of Shambhala! :)
