They had better run both trains. SFGAm gets packed and this ride is right at the front of the park. The queue is likely going to be awful with 2 trains, I can't imagine how painful it would be if they only ran one train. To be fair, this park usually does a pretty good job of running their...
I really like Raging Bull, but ride experience is greatly effected by where you are sitting. To me, Raging Bull is a back row only coaster. You get great air time on the first drop and out of the MCBR and several other spots of floater. If you are in the middle of the train, there is not much...
FWIW, it does appear that CP recently added a moveable all-day locker rental for $10 for Ride Locker Locations. While I prefer to not have to rent a locker to bring a bag into the park, $10 for the day isn't terrible.
Is it sleak? No.
Is it sexy? Probably not, unless you're into awkward and chunky things with the need for a lot of support.
Will it ride well? Who knows.
Is it unique? For sure.
I think the whole addition fits the park and city well. For some reason, I like the name. Also, I think that the...
I'm interested to see what it means for their over all corporate strategy. Six Flags has been able to get away with smaller annual ride additions because most of their parks already had a collection of large roller coasters. Darien Lake has a couple large coasters as does Frontier City, but...
I don't see how 3 train operations would ever increase the wait time. It might increase the length of time an individual is on the ride due to stacking, but the actual wait time in the queue should not be hurt by 3 train operation.
I'm thinking about going to Alton Towers on a short trip to England in early August and their website doesn't have their schedule for August yet. Does anyone know when they might have the August schedule up? Or what has been their schedule in past Augusts? Also, how does a major park not have...
Here's hoping that RMC is significantly less trusting with their IP than Arrow was...:emoji_grimacing::emoji_grimacing::emoji_grimacing:
In that case, if RMC Robin Hood and White Cyclone are being manufactured by Vekoma, that should free them up for at least one more US project in addition to...
If I recall correctly, doesn't Vekoma have a partnership with RMC for something? Wonder if their partnership includes Vekoma manufacturing rides for RMC in Europe/Asia.
The "What's Not Next?" question mark can be easily explained by it being a power point slide. It was likely presented with the question "What's Not Next?" on a blank slide then the pictures were added as the answer to their question.
Here's an update to this horrifying incident. Schlitterbahn and the ex-manager of the park are being indicted with involuntary manslaughter. The indictment is a really tough read that is really damning for all involved and highlights singnificant negligence on the part of Schlitterbahn, Jeff...
Yeah...that's not how it works. Yes, equal opportunity is a major proponent of feminism, but the use of the term "chairman" highlights the patriarchal society that we currently live in and the past. It's getting better, but not anywhere near where it should be. Just because a term has been used...
^ Good find! It also looks like they have changed the connection point of the leg restraints. I'm hoping that it will be significantly more comfortable for those of us that are tall. I always have to get on my tip toes and pull my feet back as far as possible to be moderately comfortable with...
That was a really odd announcement. From the timing of the announcement (11 EST/8 PST???), the lack of a POV, the constant comparison to Dare Devil Dive at a far away park at a competitor's park...Also, not sure how this constitutes as a dive coaster. I know it's just semantics that they use for...
Does anyone have the a for the announcement stream? Assuming that there is a live stream of it.
Edit: researched a bit and found that it should be broadcast live on their facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/kingsdominionva/
This might be a stupid question, but how does RMC install their track pieces when the area is surrounded by supports? Do they cut a hole in the support structure and then rebuild the support structure, thread it through the existing gaps in the supports, or something different?
