Alton Towers and also Galactica, and Spinball for the same reasons.
Also happy to give Oblivion a miss if the park is too busy. Not that there's anything wrong with Oblivion but I usually skip it if the queue is longer than 20 mins and the single rider isn't open.
Something about that queue...
Personally I either use a small bag pack to really only have the essentials on me, or a hoodie with zip pockets. I tend to dislike having cargo trousers, all that extra weight in the pockets is weird sometimes!
B if it's a new park, keeping in mind how busy things are on that day.
I don't really care for a credit if it's a crappy ride (happy to skip a SLC any day), but as others have mentioned I like to see what else the park has to offer too. Especially when being with non-goons in the group who...
Valhalla made me immune to any other water ride or weather condition, so my vote goes to it.
Tidal Wave can get you quite wet too, bit on there it's obvious you're going to get wet.
Valhalla looks unsuspicious!
Nice report!
And it seems like we've gone to the park at the same day, I was utterly gutted to see Untamed not running when we arrived at first in the park!
Also Tower of Terror (DLP version) if it counts as a drop tower.
If not, I'd go with Highlander at Hansapark, the height and super tilt function is just bonkers <3
Glad to read you managed to do everything despite your limited time! :)
Btw, those challenges and the extra long opening times was due to LEKKERGAAN, some sort of summer activities during August. The park isn't usually that silly with it!
Funny you mention that, because PHL just announced they're going to change the Season Pass hotel perks starting August.
If you get a pass beforehand, you'll be able to get a hotel discount with no restrictions.
However, after that date you can only get the discount on selected days (most of them...
Have fun everyone!
Would have tagged along, but I'll be on vacation for a week near the park at the end of the month. :)
EDIT:
Maybe I should read the dates proper, in my head I thought you'd be going in August...
Nevermind, I'll be at the park prior to all of you going, but still wouldn't fit...
Unless specifically stated, I keep my (Android) watch on at all times during rides as well. Just as any regular watch it stays securely in place and it's quite unlikely it'll come off (unless you fiddle with it mid-ride).
With the existence of Legoland, there is literally no reason for them to theme any area within another park to Lego.
"Yeah you can come to us and experience this small area themed to Lego, it's not like there's an entire theme park dedicated to it somewhere else or so..."
To be honest that's not that hard to be haha
NL public transport is really reliable and well planned out!
How many trains does Untamed operate btw? Currious to see how they'll handle high capacity days.
Probably because it's not the weekend yet/school holidays haven't started?
I'll be going mid August while summer holidays for the NL are just about to finish.
