Talocan was back open today by noon.
Chiapas was supposed to open too, technical issues unfortunately. They were working on it trying to get it open all day though.
Because the area is still in the soft opening phase,
the POV will probably be released when the official media day comes (invitations have already been sent out I heard).
Onride videos are good and well,
but back to things that are really interesting:
There will be a toilet in Rookburgh! Will it be Klugheim level themed? Who knows:

Picking up a few things and sweeping the floor can be done in a couple of hours,
and is probably best left for monday, since there is still active construction on the site.
They were testing the lights until midnight last night, all different color combinations.
Some of the lamps in the area...
I've just seen the letter that has been sent out to employees that confirms the 07. September for their preview.
It also states very clearly that leaking anything is prohibited, and entering Rookburgh will only be permitted without mobile phones, tablets or cameras.
Posted today by someone calling themselve "Graphic designer * Art director" on Instagram.
There was also a casting call for video taping a week ago according to Phantafriends.. might be related?
Video of FLY Testing on Instagram:
Dispatching seems to be very quick (even though the ride looks slow ? ). Those are two different trains on the first and second part of the layout.
Also you can see some cool looking lighting fixtures awaiting installation:
Those markings are actually the queue for "Lili's Cafe" which is now entered through the smaller side entrance
However i noticed that they worked very quickly over the last few days to finish the last part of the wall that is visible from within Rookburgh.
Work has not even started on the rest...
It's not just old stuff.
The backside of Klugheim, visible from one of the main parking lots and the mystery entrance, is a huge wall of grey sheet metal and bare concrete.
Not very inviting at all.
They had scaffolding underneath there up until literally a few weeks ago...
Those balconies are not temporary (the railings are, of course).
Like with the other hotel buildings, they start on the third level on the side with the windows, so i'd imagine they serve some emergency exit purpose...
Here's a Video of FLY Testing, it start around 1:30 in.
There is also a slow-motion after that.
That confirms that the train will have 10 rows (20 passengers per train)
Already has a very reasonable pace it seems like, also struck by how quiet it is.
Since there was this whole debate about Hotel Matamba and a hotel park entrance i thought it would be noteworthy to share that the hotel will supposedly get its own entrance for this season, near the bridge:

Small update, first part of the new wall seems about done:
Also there is a big new theming structure / building starting to appear inside the area itself:
