Parque Warner Madrid 5 - 10 year plan ambition

Catering is an interesting one as half the restaurants were closed when I went (admittedly on a week day in school time). I can't envisage a second gate being popular, the park would be better off filling in the many blank spaces & buildings throughout the park in my opinion.

When in Madrid - Part 2: Parque di Atracciones

I would say 5-6 hours would be fine, you may want to invest in a fast pass depending on queues though. Not sure how busy it would be in October. I didn't see GCE down at all when I was there so can't really comment on that.

When in Madrid - Part 2: Parque di Atracciones

*Holly Willoughby voice* Firstly, are you OK?... Because I'm not, I had to spend a day at Parque di Atracciones! Parque di Atracciones It's Friday and there I am thinking it shouldn't be too bad. Its term term and a week day, it will be an enjoyable day for a theme park, right? The journey...

When in Madrid - Part 2: Parque di Atracciones

Hola! Its been a while since I've posted a TR but felt I should do one for this trip. Transport was pretty straight forward, flew from Gatwick to Madrid (Madrid to Heathrow on the way home). I stayed in a cute hotel in the city centre. The metro and buses makes it easy to get pretty much...

The Return of Nemesis Sub Terra?

The park are clearly having issues with the ride. Got on it on Tuesday and it broke down just after the restraints had been checked. We were offloaded and told it had broken down. The ride was then down for pretty much the rest of the day.

Parque Warner Madrid | Gotham City Escape | Intamin Launch Coaster | 2023

Rode this on Tuesday, will probably do a proper trip report later in the week. But... wow, this ride is absolutely amazing. The pre-show and queue create an immersive story and build up the suspense of boarding. The second launch into the top hat is super intense and the brake on top actually...

Grona Lund & Kolmarden (July 2022)

Lets finish this little report up with Kolmarden! Originally I wasn't going to do Kolmarden but basically talked myself into it, mainly for Wildfire! I had a bit of faff with tickets, I had originally booked tickets for Thursday and the forecast changed and was showing storms for Thursday. I...

"Pigs Might Fly" - Paultons Park, 21st May 2022

I'm definitely interested! I'd be getting the train (and then who knows what). If anyone else is doing the same, give me a shout and see what we can sort out.

    CF Lives 2022 - What's Happening

Of course Paultons is on the one weekend I have something planned in May! Sad times. Don't know if this is the right place to post, but if anyone is organising any small group trips (especially to Europe) I'd be interested in tagging along.

After visiting BPB last week I've updated my top 10 (Big One is out and Icon is in). Unsure of I'll get any more creds this year but time will tell! (Edited after visiting Thorpe in July) Helix, Liseberg (Mack) Zadra, Energylandia (RMC) Taiga, Linnanmaki (Intamin) Dive Coaster, Chimelong (B&M)...

    Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually remodel the area after the entrance. The first thing you see is that tacky Wacky Worm. They could create a little 'Main Street' or something. Yeah a type of shuttle bus would work quite well. Or they do something crazy like building an underground train!

Your year in review - 2020 edition

Um, the first post is missing for me on this thread. Is it just me? Anyway, here's mine: - Coaster Count at start of 2020: 127 - Coaster Count at end of 2020: 145 (Had planned to hit 150 this year!) - New coasters ridden in 2020: 18 - New parks visited in 2020: 2 - Park visits in 2020: 3...

    Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

I wonder how long it will be until the park put some kind of transportation in? With further expansion it's going to be quite the trek from the entrance to the back of the park!
