    Top 5 Airtime Machines

from the coasters I have ridden, my top 5 airtime machines are: Phoenix El Toro The Voyage Outlaw Run Nitro I rode SkyRush last year, and I don't recall much airtime other than over the last hill before the turn into the brake run and really surprised that the Voyage hasn't gotten much mention

    Best Six Flags Ninja.

definitely not the one at SFSTL, I have been looking at that eyesore since 1989, and its most definitely run it's course, and needs to be either updated with some new trains or remove it, I wouldn't be sorry to see it go..

    Trip plans for 2013

Looks like in addition to my several trips to Silver dollar City this year as well as hitting Cedar Point and Six Flags Great America, I will be heading down to Dollywood next month as a extra bonus, looking forward to seeing that park again.

    Fantastic old coaster footage/pics

here are a few scans I did from my old Six Flags over Mid America (SFSTL) guide book of the "B" side of the Runaway Mine train, the best of the 2. it was sold to make room for the Ninja coaster..

Six Flags St. Louis | "Boomerang" | Boomerang

^^agreed^^ I thought they would run it parallel with the Eagle, so was a little shocked when I saw the direction they decided to go.. for all we know they could have done it that way to make room for something else..maybe something big in 2014... is this wishful thinking? or am I just giving...

Six Flags St. Louis | "Boomerang" | Boomerang

have to defend the coasters in the park, The Screamin Eagle is MY choice for best coaster in the park, guess because I have ridden it since its opening weekend, and its still as exciting to me as the first day I rode it, even though its been neutered to death... The Boss was rough for many...

Six Flags St. Louis | "Boomerang" | Boomerang

I have been going to SFSTL since 1973 and as much as I still like our park it is getting stale. I was absolutely insanely mad to hear we were getting a 27 year old coaster, and while yes it will raise our count up, it is a Vekoma coaster, we already have the Ninja which has probably the lowest...

Silver Dollar City opening weekend 3/16/13 Outlaw Run review

it was my first coaster experience for 2013, and I couldn't have asked for a better day for it, the sun was shining and the cold winter chill was replaced with an awesome 71 degrees. it was to be expected that the crowds would be in full swing at the park and I wasn't wrong on my assumption by a...

    New Chance Hyper-Lite Coaster Type

Personally I like this coaster, seems like it would be a nice thrilling ride, and would be a good addition to a park in preparation for a bigger one down the road. I mean even something like this would be a good addition to SFSTL rather than an old coaster..

California's Great America | "Gold Striker" | GCI Wood

no worse than my home park SFSTL boasting to be the "coaster capitol of Missouri" with the addition of Boomerang. a full tunnel will be an interesting addition to the ride, doesn't bother me either way having it or not, will just have to ride it to form a better opinion.

Silver Dollar City |"Outlaw Run"| Rocky Mountain Wood

I am so looking forward to this coaster, its going to be incredible! maybe its because I am partial to wood coasters, but honestly this one is going to be nice. I'm surprised not everyone is hyped about this coaster, or for any of the other "changed" coasters, its taking wood coasters in a...

    Horror films!

nice list, I have seen all 50 of them. and I agree about "Human Centipede" its not horrible vile like it is made out to be, its all hype. the movie is just stupid in my opinion, one of those "had to see it" kind of flick

    Star Flyers

I rode the one at SFSTL, the weekend ours opened, and it was cool, the second time I rode it though, I found it to be a very unnerving ride, and I was uncomfortable and scared the entire ride, I tried it once more and found I definitely didn't like it. if I had to make a choice between the Star...

How old were you when you hit 1.4m

most definitely hard to answer this one, because I have been riding coasters for so long, I started riding them before parks would measure how tall you were. I rode the Mine Train for the first time when I was 8 years old, and I rode the Screamin Eagle opening weekend, when I was 12 years old..

    The Change: Parks going down-hill/up-hill

I have been going to my home park annually since 1972, and while I still get filled with joy each visit each summer over all these years, I feel the park has lost its luster that it once had. it's slowly growing but not really thriving if that makes any sense.

Have you ever poo'd in a theme park?

I do my best to not go while I'm at parks, and that's just a personal preference. it has nothing to do with being prissy, however most of the times I have used an amusement park toilet, its been nasty and dirty, and there is no way I am sitting down on a seat with that much waste right below the...

    Your first Drop Tower experience

The first one I ever went on was Demon Drop at Cedar Point, and hated it. didn't do any drop towers at all until about a year and a half ago, and decided to try Superman Tower of Power at my home park SFSTL, and loved it! now I look forward to drop towers..
