Be interesting to know what the "other methods" were.
In regards to the reach, has the computer technology now advanced to a point where they can accurately place the supports and track knowing when it is physically built the tolerance will be minimal therefore a physical pull through is no...
Remember though there is already quite a large magnetic trim installed on the drop before you go into the outer bank.
Assuming that trim hasn’t been removed it will have hit that plus the slow lift hill, the new trains its first run etc.
So all hope isn’t lost yet at that outer bank being a...
- 3:00 on the live stream to be able to watch it again.
That was very exciting even just watching the stream.
Considering that was the very first run the first element was taken very quickly but then almost stalled on the huge outerbank. I wonder if the trim brake engaged a bit too much there...
There’s an actual process behind the testing and this isn’t just a show for all the goons watching over the fence?! [emoji23]
Makes you realise just how steep that lift hill is seeing the train on it now!
^ I knew there was a new sound track but was kinda hoping that slow part of the area score was kept somewhere, added to the the sense of mystique as you had put it previously 🥺
Random question, is the musical score still played with the high pitch sounds etc? The part of the soundtrack i’m referring to is in the video below.
(Was initially pulled in by the clickbait thumbnail but it’s an old video of how they used to dye the water red. Interesting none the less)
Yeah the park has had a real identity crisis for a long time now.
Im not a huge fan of the "Disney Adventure World" name tbh. "Walt Disney's Adventure World" sounds better but whatever.
I just hope they implement the new "Adventure World" theme properly and it isn't just a mish mash of themes...
The Walt Disney Studios front lot has a charm about it and is a nice place to be.
I hope they carry that theme through the new studio 1 and into the backlot area and then you go off into the differen't "Worlds"
Attraction wise the huge refurb as literally been cut back to just Frozen ever...
I don't think Universal need to do anything different here with the IP's. They could literally copy and paste Universal Studios Singapore into Bedford and it would be hugely successful. Add in some Potter and they are printing money.
If they do go ahead with the project I really can't see this...
They are the mechanical machine you will board on your quest to find your fearless.
I just made that up but i’m sure Thorpe Park will come out with some similar nonsense to explain the look of the trains.
Yes true it’s giving me transformers vibes more than graceful goddess.
If it wasn’t Thorpe Park that would probably annoy me but theming making sense at Thorpe Park disappeared a long time ago.
The trains have been on Thorpe Farm in storage for a while now.
I know this is true as I rode on them on the railway track to canada creek station, then we sped around the rocky express with the Thorpe park rangers driving them.

As much as I really want this to happen the more I read and look into to this i’m just thinking there is just no chance this is happening.
I really hope I am wrong but there are just so many hoops and hurdles for Universal to jump through here it will be a miracle if they pull this off.
7 weeks to go until opening yet it hasn’t even tested yet or trains or even on site seems a bit on the tight side?
Any kind of complication during testing puts that opening date they have already announced in jeopardy.
I just think Thorpe may have taken a bit of a risk with this big...
