I guess it's worth criticizing how these rides are blatant ripoffs, or at least from what we know about them they are. But I enjoyed my rides on Superman at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, and Pulsar looks great, and Raptors are fantastic rides. I'm sure all of these products will be...
To be honest though, is a multi-launch coaster really as groundbreaking as everyone seems to be suggesting? Volcano was a "multi-launch" coaster built in '99, and we've seen numerous examples since then. Obviously we could see a new seating position or new design philosophy (ultra compact...
The manufacturer is usually on call or "on site" for the first year of operation to essentially serve that warranty purpose. While the ride is officially handed off to the park, the manufacturer is readily available to properly train maintenance crews and address any technical issues that arise...

@Ian if we can remember, one of us will try and poke you via messenger if we end up organizing a raid.
B&M's spine varies in thickness between low and high G areas, but it usually doesn't transition as quickly as that piece that @CoasterMac305 pointed out. That's a pretty significant change in thickness in one track section.
I saw the post the other day and it read to me as "we can't wait to go back to Busch Gardens and we can't wait to see Iron Gwazi testing," and not actually an indicator that testing will resume.
Alright, I got the server all set up! This might take a few tries to get everyone in the server since the link expires after 24 hours, but feel free to reach out via PM or on Facebook Messenger if the link has expired and I haven't posted a new one yet.

As incredible as a massive Axis would be, I don't think the timing quite works out. If Fuji-Q was announcing a pricetag for this ride, it must be more mature of a project in its design space than we'd initially think. Plus S&S stated not quite a month ago to us that they didn't have any...
So they're looking to increase the cars per train to four? That's great news, but surely complicated. If I recall the tour we had with FREDxGCI years ago, the ride is extremely weight sensitive, but I'm sure they accounted for this. Do they still have to test how the ride performs with the...
I didn't dive too deeply into this but it appears that an Axis model may have found its first customer since we visited (holy****nearlyamonthagoalready).
They are just starting to work on the canopy now. Bioreconstruct recently posted a set of aerials where the temporary trusses are rising and the beams for the canopy are staged for assembly.
I said this years ago, but Universal hasn't been Disney's little brother for years now. They're totally...
I am still getting used to how the "half loops" on the non inverting cobra roll lean inwards instead of outwards like on a traditional double inversion, although ride elements, no matter how wacky, tend to look natural when they're complete. I'm sure this thing will look nasty in all the best...
The TEA report tends to be riddled with inaccuracies - some of which even contradict the numbers released by a park. It's my understanding that a lot of the numerical data is more or less made up, and their qualitative data and root cause analysis tends to have a similar level of accuracy. A...
I'm not sure if there's something mechanically different in the coach design or if the coaches have governors that Reverchon sets for a more conservative ride or if it's just simply pure coincidence, but the Zamperlas spin soooooooo much more. Load as much weight as possible on the left side and...
I mean, the country of Japan might be as close to a utopia as humans on earth can possibly get (mind you, this opinion is coming from a disheartened American who hasn't yet visited) where they actually have things like common sense and an understanding of the common good. Coronavirus was a...
