Another misstep from the marketing team.
Throughout the last few months it's been "technical rehearsals in April" with no exact date specified.
They should have just stuck with that line really. I don't blame people for assuming that there will be an opportunity to ride over Easter / Bank...
This isn't a thread to criticise safety measures or anything like that.
We all know rides are perfectly safe *insert cliched quote about how they're safer than driving to a theme park*
I just wondered if there's any ride you've been on before that felt unsafe, even if it's just a perception...
The render looks nice.
The idea that this would be a blot on the skyline of Far West is, in my mind, quashed.
I just hope that the rockwork doesn't depreciate as suggested by @oriolat2.
I've gone for speed by process of elimination.
Height - I don't see this moving any time soon although I reckon it could be done within the decade.
Length - I can't imagine Steel Dragon's 8000+ ft being topped, and if it was then I think this would be done in China or UAE, again, much further...
That trim is an absolute bugger ain't it.
The layout looks great, but it just sucks all the potential away in terms of fab pacing.
Sure, there seems to be the odd snappy transition, but other than that it looks a bit ponderous and hangtime orientated, which is a bit of a shame imo.
I'll...
Well, I hope my missus still loves Paris because she's going to be dragged there soon enough.
Love the whole #speedgate controversy too. Yep, a few of those videos are sped up a bit although the latter video is difficult to compare because of editing and split cam.
Still... this looks like it...
I sort of get this from all the major EP coasters. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with any of them on paper...just lacking that extra 'oomph' I find with other versions of those respective ride types.
I respectfully disagree with this.
The retro squad rides definitely stand out as temporary attractions in the way that they are placed, the music they play and overall aesthetic.
I'm not saying everyone will pick up on this of course, but I do know a few non enthusiasts from my area that have...
I really hope they fill out a lot of that empty space between the coaster. Perhaps more set pieces rather than just foliage?
I have every confidence it'll look fab when it's finished though. PWM may not be a top tier park for me, but it's definitely a nice looking park.
