I know you're just tryna bait any non-intamin fans here (judging by your profile name) so I won't bother trying to explain Giga brake runs. But I don't think any designer sits there going "I'm going to make it like this because it's very un-cool" lol! Also "playing it safe" usually mean putting...
This is my thread so I will spam with screens of the final product. These are from the morning (if you do want a "sunrise" edition let me know as it does help with performance.

Welcome to Valley of the Spirits, home to Yokai and Ikuchi. Yokai is a B&M Invert names after the Japanese spirits that reside in the nearby castle. Ikuchi is a hyper coaster names after the water yokai that was said to sink the ships from the local fishing village.

But Jay finished the Ikuchi's queueline, I've just been landscaping and dressing... Might stop these updates now till release, dont wanna give too much away.
Sorry to spam, but Jay has now completed Yokai's queue meaning the invert is now near finished =) on track for release.

The Nemesis inspired part of the queue overlooking the area

They litterally said an "Ad agency in Manchester" I think it was outsourced thentoo. Although I do think Towers have alot of input with their ride branding as they do it a hell of a lot better than any other Merlin park.
I wonder if the logo was done by LMC. They've been doing Merlin's ride branding for years.

Soooo it happened again. Feeling abit exhausted of the bigger projects I went into FVD and started playing arounf with a modern shaped B&M Floorless (like Hot Wheels Nitro in India). I asked around about what elements to add and was challenged with a few ideas then worked out how to make those...
Ha thanks Hixie, Jay has worked SO hard the past week and its coming together into something really special imo. Soundtrack is in now giving the area a real park vibe.
Anyway, as promised, a first look at Ikuchi's area. A small fishing village, plagued by the demon
Not much new here apart from planting, but alot more has been done behind this camera. I hope to give this project a release date soon, really really excited to let everyone walk round.
All slowly coming together... just in time for night ride season. Still working with Jay on Ikuchi's station and plaza, but it's looking really nice, will share more soon.
But for now, another night shot..
Some progress!
Here is the first draft of Yokai's station. We're gonna change the scale I think as it's a little off atm, but I think you can see the vibe.
And a better sightline from the lake.
An update on the theming will come soon, just waiting on some more progress from Jay. Here's just a shop in the meantime of the rides testing in the evening. We're hoping to have these rides entered in the 350 Roundup so expect a release by the end of October. =)
Oh I'm not sure how to do that, I guess if I made a default position and screen shotted from there. I'm never good at thinking that far ahead haha but might try next time
Finally put together a RHS POV, with some extra music =).
