The industry isn't as school-yard as all that. I'm pretty sure this will be a cost, availability and best proposal situation.
You also see people be like "INSERT PARK would never work with INSERT MANUFACTURER" all the time and the next year they go build one lol, remember when "Cedar Point will...
The Smiler did play a part in SubTerra as it became clear it was easy for smaller guests to remove themselves from the restraints before the drop which prompted a restraint redesign, but even then the directors and operators felt uncomfortable running the ride after the crash.

I was upset by the plain black track as it's such an over done scheme especially in the UK and ESPECIALLY in Alton Towers. I was baffled by the lack of creativity when the original bone and rusted track was so iconic.
So I'm super excited to see they're doing something new, creative and...
I've had this milling around since I saw Pipeline's announcement. I wasn't sure I GOT what B&M were doing with their surf coaster, but once I saw the trains I think I understand now and I think it's a really exciting new model. Obviously as I usually do when I get excited about a new B&M, I went...
Quick update, decided to theme the ride to Puffins. They're cute and which suits the style of ride...but also they live on cliffs.
I had this idea after looking at The Strat rides and Glenwood Caverns. It's great having a family aimed coaster with low forces (I've always wanted to design one)...
Ok 11 versions later, I have a layout that works. This has been a nice little challenge so far.
The roll was suuuper hard to perfect, due to the low speed and lateral forces I had to use a geometric approach but I really like the outcome, infact its one of my favourite elements I've made, I...

Used this site to try as abit of a portfolio for some design jobs, but alas unsuccessful so been feeling abit salty, but it did push me to get some more stuff up there. Still proud of my little coasters.
Yeah I wanted to like FLY so much, after staying in Charles Lindburgh, the presentation and music. But I didn't have a ride on it that didn't make me feel pretty nauseous and uncomfortable. I do understand why people love it though so its hard for me to say its overrated. I'm glad I'm not the...
Soooo playing around and tryna figure out these new baby B&M wings. I did my own version of the Legoland wing. It actually has been really challenging working with low speeds in FVD. But its been fun so I'm gonna see if I can make a finished coaster. Here's the first draft of the layout.
Another video by Thomas focusing on some of the details he worked on!
And just an overview screen. Time to put this project to bed and maybe abit of a hiatus (I think I say this everytime)
Yeh Andy is a complete Legend and a father figure to a lot of people who have worked at Nemesis over the years, even if sometimes he causes just as much trouble as the younger staff members. It is crazy to think he's operated nemmy from day one.
Yeah Alton really impressed yesterday, after the fireworks having the announcement that Nemesis was closing (although I think everyone was expecting something more) and then having the pilgrimage over to Nemesis to seeing the phalanx posters and logo plastered over everything along the way and...

Festival Gardens sits on the edge of Lake Julian as an escape for people from the local city with a large number of outdoor activities. In 2022 they have decided to expand with a number of permanent attractions and have purchased three second hand rides, Float - a paratrooper ride...
Some updates! Just bear in mind that we're working on two different files of the same park at the same time! So the pictures of stuff I'm working on doesn't have the stuff Thom has completed, so there are patches all over the place in these pictures, but don't worry they will come together)...
