I think people are forgetting that Paultons is still a small family run business. Their theming won’t be Disney standard, nowhere near really. But the fact that they are still, in my opinion, leading the way in terms of themed areas in the UK is fantastic given that their rival, Merlin, is the...
I haven’t seen the Wickerman structure so can’t talk about that.
The Marmaliser is a poor excuse for theming and was just a way of getting out of putting in proper physical theming.
The Swarm island may be good but it’s just an individual ride, as soon as you leave Swarm Island you could be on...
Unfortunately, public transport is mostly out of their control and as most visitors are families, this isn’t a priority for them.

Yeah the food at Paultons isn’t the best, even compared to Merlin. I also wished they built an on-site hotel as many people would want to stay overnight if they’ve traveled far.

Looks fantastic and just proves that Paultons really do care about everything they do. They really believe this is a real 1950’s town and want you to be immersed - even from the top of Buffalo Falls

Looks fantastic and just shows how much PP care about the attractions they install and the overall area. This area is going to be game changing for the park[emoji1696]and for the UK theme park industry - especially in the south.

I really hope Paultons do well with this area, someone needs to take a dent in Merlin’s monopoly, especially in the South

I’m slightly concerned by the capacity of these... it’s good to see two but with only 10 per tower the queues could become long given the other rides in the area appear to have high throughput.
EDIT: they hold 10 not 8

Really interesting post! Here's what I think of your plans:
Yellow: I agree this area should be reserved for that purpose. Peppa Pig World just keeps getting more popular and the park need to reserve space for it in order to increase the area's capacity.
Pink: Would be a good use of land...
I think it’s unlikely that it would be a mega coaster, but I would say there’s a chance they’ve got a long term contract with Mack as they build up their park. Their last investment featured a Mack ride also

Whilst I hope you’re wrong, at this stage that is likely. It seems a bit too late to be revealing another addition. Only time will tell!

Totally agree. They even left a gap in the theming etc by the swarm’s queue. I think they planned to link them but ran out of money

I see what you mean. By the time it reaches that stage I’m ready for something big to finish it or for it just to end and it just seems a bit boring so I definitely agree

I think the word “established” can mean different things as well. A park might be established yet still want to do a series of investments to attract different audiences to create an all round park. Paultons Park is a great example of this: despite being established in the young family market...
