Adventureland, Iowa | The Monster | Gerstlauer Infinity

Now Gerst has seemingly ditched OTSRs for good, the majority of their future coasters will be pretty darn good! This one looks like a lot of fun with a creative little layout. Its a great shame The Smiler was built before Gerstlauer's lap bar era because it would be one of the best coasters in...

I have not been to an amusement park in a while.

I have not been to an amusement park in a while.

Holiday World has Voyage and Thunderbird so imo, that would be my first choice! You can ride a drop tower some other time

I have not been to an amusement park in a while.

Despite going up side down, Air Race rides are mild, fun and suitable for children aged 7 and over. Since you live in Tennessee, I have some advice: 1. Ask your parents to drive you to Dollywood. 2. Be a man and ride Lightning Rod and the other coasters they have. 3. Come back and tell us all...

Dollywood | Lightning Rod | Launched RMC

Someone hurry up with the POV pls, I need to see this masterpiece in full

Blackpool Pleasure Beach | Icon | Mack Multi-Launch

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Project 2018 Its probably the layout and it looks great, definitely better than Blue Fire but perhaps not Helix. Good variety in the layout that has airtime and isn't dominated by inversion after inversion. I predict enthusiasts will be split on whether it or...

SF Discovery Kingdom | The Joker | Roar RMC Conversion

Best pre lift section on an RMC so far. Like every single RMC, it will at least be a 9/10 ride, probably a 10/10. In my opinion this looks a bit faster and more exciting than the recently opened Storm Chaser.

Rides that still genuinely scare you...

Didn't know about the 18 yr old at Terra Mitica being too big, none of the articles I read at the time mentioned it and I wondered if none would to be respectful or whatever. They stil look like pretty intense rides though

Kishkinta (Chennai) : Knock Off Disko Accident

Yeah I forgot about Golden Horse and I know they'd be fine, they're a pretty big company nowadays and are trying some original **** like a duelling tilt coaster. There's a few other big companies in China which have plenty of skilled engineers and designers too. Call me basic but I...

Rides that still genuinely scare you...

Its cool that some people are saying Oblivion, it means Wardley did his job right with that 90s masterpiece! Didn't particularly scare me on my first ride but it was fantastic at building tension and I love re riding for that floaty feeling of weightlessness. Call me a fanboy but I know I will...

Kishkinta (Chennai) : Knock Off Disko Accident

This is why I'd never ride an Asian knock off flat ride. The standards are simply much poorer and they are much more unsafe (although like all rides, they do operate most of the time without incident).

Rides that still genuinely scare you...

Literally nothing now although I used to be a pussy when I was a kid. Though sling shot rides look intimidating. I know they're not rides but I don't enjoy jump scare heavy experiences.

Busch Gardens Tampa | Cobra’s Curse | Mack spinning coaster

Re: Busch Gardens Tampa | Cobra’s Curse | Mack spinning coas They've gone for a part 1, part 2, part 3 layout here used by coasters like Big Thunder Mountain. The first 2 parts are awkwardly short.

    Shooting for Skyrush Record

I think you're referring to Emily aka "QueenofSkyrush" and I'm pretty sure she has the record for most laps? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjbGOpq5GzA

    Shooting for Skyrush Record

Skyrush looks incredible, fast, forceful and ultra intense but does it ever get a bit boring to ride 100+ times a day?

Thorpe Park | Derren Brown's Ghost Train | VR Attraction

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train (WC16) | Thorpe Park | May 2 Are they actually going to enforce the 13+ age restriction with staff asking for these kids IDs as if it was a cinema movie? That's a very bad idea if they are imo, it should just be a reccommendation and this could cause a lot of...

Alton Towers' Galactica VR coaster/Rollercoaster Restaurant

Re: Alton Towers' Galactica VR coaster/Rollercoaster Restaur FFS autocorrect!! I am not an idiot, can't believe I missed it Also I shall add that any ridetimes website may be unreliable, at 3:30 yesterday Galactica said "15 min wait" at the entrance but we walked straight onto a half empty train.

Alton Towers' Galactica VR coaster/Rollercoaster Restaurant

Re: Alton Towers' Galactica VR coaster/Rollercoaster Restaur I did Galactica today, it was trippy and exciting but not perfect and must be refined in the future to iron out its flaws. The cool Imascore soundtrack and colourful visuals made it very very fun.

Incredible Hulk - new credit or no credit?

I'm surprised that anyone thinks its a new cred but sort of understand where people are coming from. Its just so overwhelmingly similar to the original that I would find it shameful to count as a new cred had I rode the original. Its like counting Rougarou as a new cred when its just a repaint...

What's the point of an RMC layout?

Yeah its the combination of both, the majority of coasters (obviously there are exceptions) choose to be made up of almost entirely positive G manoeuvres and inversions OR airtime hills. Its rare that you find a healthy mix of both outside of RMC.
