as of March 26th Amusement parks can re-open in New York (not that any of the outdoor ones will open that early anyways). Considering they never were allowed to open last...
yeah, Having ridden west coast racers, comfort collars are going to kill an otherwise (probably) great ride. really a shame. That said my biggest issue with the collars is I'm short. Taller people may have less of the issues I did.
At least as far of the first drop is concerned, the part of the first drop not being retracked is the part where the only part of the train making contact with the the track is the upstop wheels, at least according to what Pete had shown us back on the 2016 Live.

Also the drop right out of the station towards the back of the train on Giant Dipper at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk was quite a...
Expedition Everest's Yeti the year it opened back when it worked the way it was originally intended to was to this day the most incredible special effect I've seen.
I'll also give this a +1. Crazy to see to Disney's special effects have evolved over the years
To expand on the Darien Lake part, It's likely retracking the helix turnaround (at 43 seconds) and potentially the hill immediately before and after. That has consistently been the roughest portion of the ride despite it being retracked frequently.
Sadly this also likely means SF isn't...
This was my inclination. As much of a bummer it is to see these classic rides removed, I'm not in the least bit shocked a PR owned park is trying to reduce costs during this global pandemic where profits are down. Truthfully I still think it's a miracle KW was able to build a coaster to the...
