    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

Haha not sure on that one. I would really suggest someone maybe looks at where the cable goes underneath the queueline as someone posted a pic earlier - It looks like it would be pretty bad if a kid reached in and touched it when the lift was going! Did really enjoy the ride and yeah the...

    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

I visited today and really enjoyed the coaster itself. Its fun, fast, whips you about and is just a good laugh. The barrel rolls feel like you're gonna fall out of the train with lapbars though. The misters soak you and the corkscrews are epic. Later in the day they had an issue with the catch...

    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

Yeah I was thinking that as I wrote it. Still useful, but amusing in the park that has a Single Train booster bike, Kumali that had 2 trains (and run amazingly when it had 2 running a long time ago, until they removed it and cannibalised it), and Mumbo Jumbo which they often run with half the...

Indiana Beach I All American Triple Loop | Quimera (Dreier Looper) relocation | 2024

I am curious about the blue painted bits, are these areas that have been ground back and inspected?

Does this ride only have 1 train, as I was expecting? If so that is pretty funny that it has the transfer track and everything and has 1 train at THE PARK of single train rides.

    Big One Re-Tracking @Pleasure Beach

To the general public, it is good. To anyone who was a kid in the mid 90's it was very good then, obviously by worldwide and modern standards it isn't, I forgot why i don't bother with enthusiast forums anymore, so much pedantry, narrow minded thinking and pettiness.

    Big One Re-Tracking @Pleasure Beach

To an extremely tiny percentage of the parks attendees, yes. Almost insignificantly small you could say :)

Strangest construction projects you’ve ever followed?

That one was strange, the Jeep was perplexing at the time, had something similar to Imagineering on the back of it but PB's own silly version. Back when I was a teenager, the construction of Infusion was wierd and exciting. The park removing the log flume and then little teasers being given...

    Big One Re-Tracking @Pleasure Beach

Theme parks are a business, the Big One is iconic to the park, and the general public love it. And so do I - there are many better rides obviously but it's a classic. They keep replacing track because doing anything else would be pretty stupid. RMCing it or something sounds like a good idea...

    WTF Merlin?

I'd guess with that sign that they're going to have the sign re-vinyl'ed in a way that will make sense with the screen.Or they'll replace the aluminium panel around the screen at a later date. A job being done by multiple people but not at the same time. But yeah that looks bad haha. This is...

Busch Gardens Tampa | Iron Gwazi | RMC Gwazi | 2022

Nobody really knows, but from what I think and hear about this, it sounds like these sorts of things happen with projects all the time. Perhaps part of the process with something this big. Plus due to the Virus stuff, i imagine a lot of SeaWorld's management operations have been limited which...

Universal IoA | Jurassic World VelociCoaster | Intamin Blitz | 2021

Was not expecting this project to be so awesome until it started going up.

    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

I could see Flamingo Land rush to get it open to be honest, but who knows. Can imagine painting it would take quite a long time and they obviously cant do testing at the same time.

    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

I'm late to the party but my thoughts on the painting is that when you paint a coaster, it needs a long time for the paint to cure. And the way coasters are assembled usually involves straps being wrapped around track and supports. This would probably remove big sections of the paint during...

    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

Good to see the trains arrive and the track being painted. I was worried for a moment they'd somehow keep it faded red and horrible yellow. I think the green train(s) would look fine on a black/grey colour scheme. I wonder if there is a 2nd train - the park that ordered it could have only...

    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

I suppose its packaging -maybe to keep the foundations spaced away from each other. Looks like the square supports take up less room. The last roll into the station also has one. It is curious that this ride has mostly square supports too, i dont think you see it too often.

I'm guessing a lot of that brown is actually surface rust and not mud

    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

Tbh i'm starting to get excited for this. Even though it's nothing amazing, it is quite a wierd story to finally see this coaster going up after its been sat in carparks around the world for 8 years lol! Who on earth decided red and yellow was a good colour scheme though; hoping they paint it...
