It is definitely an improvement, but I think it got a lot rougher again just over this season. I think they just need to keep ontop of non essential maintenance more really.
I was told by a member of staff that they're doing a cleanout of the park this month. Remains to be seen if that includes the Ultimate meeting its maker.
Pleasing to see the railroad completed, and got to love how much plants and trees Disney will plant for these new rides.
Hopefully they can hide the show building a bit with them...
I'd say if it doesnt drastically change the ride experience then no.
Hulk, Nemesis and Python - No way are those new credits.
MonteZOOMa - If the layout and launch system are substantially changing, and only the station remains the same.... I guess so yeah
This ride type is so exciting to me. It's one of those ideas you'd have and then it would just be so impractical due to cost.
But here we are, its being built. Really looking forward to this one.
Pipeline makes sense to people who know surfing. I suspect most Sea World visitors will be a bit confused though.
Ride looks interesting, I would say the movement of the seats will have a big dampener on it so it should be quite smooth how it works. Probably barely noticable to the average...
You do have to love BGT for just building cool stuff so casually. The park doesnt need a swing, but its getting one anyway. Just another solid ride to go on!
Looking forward to it.
Always surprises me that people like Mako so much, I found it really "meh" when I went on it.
Silver Star always had a better ride on it.
Must have just been back luck on Mako that day
I remember it being amazing before they modified it.
The first scene with the story being told and water jets jumping about was so cool, it truly was something really special. Rode it again in 2017 and they've just removed most of the effects and painted some stuff in vibrant rainbowy colours...
I was meaning for just the launch. Would save them a lot of money and would be a good potential product for Intamin to sell.
But I'm saying this as someone who knows nothing and has a very minute amount of engineering type experience 😂
Was just spitballing really
It's possible that Intamin could have designed a retrofit kit that allows LSMs to be bolted into the same mounting points that the different mechanism for the current launch/brakes use, making installation much easier.
But I agree that the parks announcement seems more likely to be 2024.
