Water rides don't have to drench you to be fun. All too often see people arguing that a water ride is crap if you're not soaked to the skin. Can't say I really understand it.
Generally yeah, although I feel like Disney will sometimes artificially inflate queue times to put people off sometimes, at least in Florida anyway. Always noticed certain rides would suddenly have huge queue times towards the end of the day, and we'd risk it and the queues would often be half...
I went to Towers for the first time in a while recently. Was laughing so much at the butchered signage/window stickers at Burger Kitchen.
Have to be pretty ashamed of themselves to have to cut pieces out of their sign because they cant say 100% breast meat or whatever now.
The food was pretty...
The talk on the previous page about the waterfalls. I honestly think their main reason for stopping it is just money.
In an environment like Nemesis, they will have been losing a lot of water/dye daily to evaporation and it soaking away. They'll have had to keep adding dye regularly at a guess...
Wild Mouse at BPB (RIP)
The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley (RIP)
Having seen the recent accidents, most Schwarzkopf looping rides do put me on edge now.
I think it looks so awful. That design is just gonna look so bad all the way around the layout.
The whitish track with a rust effect was already very unique. This just looks crap
I really hope that this, along with Duels update, that the park will start to go down a route where it becomes more about details and magic than just breaking records etc.
Would love Towers to become more like Efteling or Phantasialand.
I feel like it'll be something smaller and lower budget than Icon. I feel like Icon, to them, was sort of "top level" of what they could install.
I think a big wheel as per the trademark/rumours.
Further down the line probably a Mack Big Dipper. I'd love them to install an RMC raptor.
Don't get me wrong I think it's very tacky. But Disney has always had sponsored rides is all. The original Disneyland railroad was even sponsored by a train company :D
I mean that's how Disneyland was built! A lot of rides were sponsored. All throughout the parks histories.
Right now the people mover is sponsored, the fireworks show even says "Brought to you by Pandora" at the end 😂
Going to be depressing later this year when I visit WDW and can't go on Splash. Such a brilliant ride.
I really hope they keep the music in there somehow at least, even if its a tiny bit.
I still get pissed off when I remember what they did to the mouse. Something so special, rare and in a tiny footprint.
Sneakily removing it in closed season is a ****ty move.
I think it would be if it wasnt inspected enough. I know they used to track walk it daily and if any damage was found they'd fix it. Apparently the ride used to be so violent it would crack the steel track, and it'd have to be welded. On some of the urbexers pictures you can see where they've...
