So I was in Japan mainly for Tokyo Disney and Universal, but ended up swinging by Nagashima Spa Land, Cosmo World and Fuji Q.
I'd never been to Nagashima Spa Land before, and was excited mostly about Steel Dragon 2000.
Firstly, getting there sucks in my opinion. Give yourself plenty of time if...
Visited Fuji Q again last week for the first time since 2017.
Dodonpa was very depressing to see being cut up, the whole station building is gone, most of the launch has gone and it's mostly the loop and a bit of the turnaround left.
Eejainaika is as insane as always, took my breath away every...
I visited Fuji Q last week. Last went in 2017 and rode Do-Dodonpa with its new loop back then. I didn't realise but the park basically built Zokkon over the old park entranceway, and they've moved and updated a lot of the park as a whole.
They were actively cutting up dodonpa's launch track and...
I visited this recently. The guy is a complete legend and collects EVERYTHING rollercoaster related.
It's a treasure trove of past and present rides, and he's been everywhere.
Lovely chap and would recommend any enthusiasts visiting Nagashima Spa Land to make a stop in Osu, Nagoya and visit...
I agree about DisneySea after visiting again this week. But I disagree about universal. Only needed Express for the Nintendo stuff.
The rest of the rides often had a 20 - 40 min queue. That's this time of year of course.
Thank you so much, I'm visiting tomorrow! I didn't find the app stuff too bad at TDL the other day, the app is really badly designed but once figured out it was okay and managed to get on Beauty and the Beast a couple of times.
We have another full day at TDS as well so if I miss anything I...
I'm visiting Tokyo Disney Resort later this month, any tips for getting into Fantasy Springs?
How do people rank the rides in case I have to choose 1 or 2 to ride?
It's so depressing whats happened to this park. It's in a beautiful location. Has so many nice things going for it. But so many years of bad management and lack of investment has left it a husk of what it once was.
Hi all
I searched the forums and couldnt find anything about this. According to the Island Quest Fan Page on Facebook, Fantasy Island has been assembling a portable wild mouse coaster for quite some time. Many parts appear to not fit properly and various bits dont line up at all.
In some...
I've always been a huge splash fan. But I'm really shocked at how this retheme has been done, the story is uncompelling. Tianas lines are really repetitive and lazy.
The big drop loses it's buildup that those cultures gave before.
Like which imagineers worked on this project because it feels...
That corporate style video chock full of buzz words made me cringe quite a bit, but I wouldnt expect them to give any details about the problem.
Although if it was something like the lift hill you think they could give a vague idea, but I suppose they dont want to give any newspapers ammunition.
Not surprised for a ride in Japan themed to generally a childs franchise.
Plus I can imagine that type of ride can't be too aggressive due to how far away the seats are to the wheel assemblies.
It's like a Steeplechase style ride, the centre of mass is quite far from the wheels which can...
