Actually the spinning Wild Mouse issue is quite contentious. From my understanding, Reverchon signed a partnership deal with Zamperla back in the 00s which allowed the latter to sell Reverchon-manufacturer spinning Wild Mouses. However, Zamperla reneged on the deal at some point, and started...
In this interview I made at EAS 2017, Vekoma Vice-President claims their company indeed designed the 'drive system' for Wildfire as part of a cooperation between Vekoma, RMC and Kolmarden. Not many people watched the interview admittedly, but that's maybe where @CrashCoaster's assertion comes...
Remember the Giovanola Tilt and Twist coaster @roomraider mentioned earlier in this thread? Promotional footage from the defunct Swiss manufacturer has surfaced, including some tests of a scaled-down Tilt coaster model!
Apparently the uploader works for the Monthey town council - the city...
Some signs announcing a new attraction for 2020 were spotted at Nigloland in France last week:
('Devinez le nom de l'attraction' means 'Guess the name of the ride' in French
'Noisette Express' = 'Hazelnut Express'...)
The signs were located behind the Wacky Worm coaster of the park, which...
Haha when I saw in notifications you tagged me in this thread, I immediately knew you'd be referring to when we met in Steel Vengeance's Q! No worries, I'm not being offended ^^
That day, fast-pass-free, I ended up whoring Maverick which had absolutely no line at all at the end of the day...
Regarding paid-line-skippers, for me it's situational. I don't have an exact cost/benefit analysis, but it depends on:
- How expensive is it?
- Is it really useful?
- Is there a ride that I'd really love to marathon? (Lech Coaster <3)
- Is it included in a larger, otherwise attractive bundle...
Agree intensity is most often better, and I can't think of a coaster that would have been better had it been less forceful.
Having said that the comprehensive factor that makes a coaster great in my eyes is how dynamic it is. Just doing series of extreme back-to-back-to-back ejector hops sounds...
While like @CrashCoaster I'm not overwhelmed by this new design, I still think this brings refreshing variation on the standard formula of 'Loop, Zero G, Immelmann' seen on so many B&M multi-loopers.
Curious to learn if indeed the layout is sold, as it would go against the fashion of building...
@CrashCoaster Original source of your post is Le Forum du Futuroscope (kudos to them btw). I suspect once again StarParc.be is leaving things ambiguous by putting the source name next to 'photo emoji' instead of using the standard 'Source: Le Forum du Futuroscope' pattern. Once again I'm not an...
Great report already!
Surprised by your thoughts on Battlestar, as I only previously heard praise about Cylon especially. Looking forward to future updates :)
