Olympia Looping returning to Winter Wonderland?

They just updated their cover photo on Facebook with the dates for this year and it has Olympia Looping on it - looks like it will be returning this year! Although I was hoping for the Alpina Bahn or Hollenblitz but exciting nonetheless.

S&S Gets Bored, Releases Tons of Concept Videos

It looks familiar to me. Apparently the Buffalo ride is at the end of its intended lifespan, and will be removed to make way for this. To be honest it doesn't look much more exciting than what's already there

    Your Boomerang/SLC Count.

SLC *Kumali *Infusion This year though I'm planning to visit Skegness and complete the set of British SLCs No Boomerangs yet (excluding Ben 10 at Drayton Manor), am quite excited to try one actually

What was your first coaster to feature an inversion?

Tsunami at M&D's. There's not much choice in Scotland

Croatia to Get Country's First Amusement Park

If it is indeed the Silverarrow that's great news, and looking at Google Maps the one at Loudoun Castle was taken down between 2013 and 2016. However the Facebook page also has a picture of a Boomerang, so we don't know for sure

Why do the Chinese knock off manufacturers only copy Vekoma?

It's a shame they haven't built any of those yet, I'd love to see how it turned out

    2 Vekoma Firestorms for Asia

This is exciting, hopefully they both happen unlike at least one Vekoma project I can't remember the name of

Olympia-Looping at London's German Christmas Market

I was looking into this the other day. Richard Bannister lists three separate Buwalda mice - the two standards and the XXL as said above. I thought the XXL was just occasionally added to one of the smaller ones, but according to his website they are three separate coasters. If only RCDB...

    Orlando park tickets

Your welcome, I was curious so had a look at their website again and I can't find combo tickets for 21 days so I guess if you use FloridaTix you could have a week at Disney and two weeks for the other parks?

    Orlando park tickets

We used Florida Tix last year and bought 14 day tickets for Busch Gardens, Universal, SeaWorld, Aquatica and Wet n Wild (which will be closed by the time you go). We didn't do Disney and bought separate tickets for Legoland. I'm not sure about 21 days but for a 14 day trip Florida Tix was the...

How is your tolerance of roughness?

Ultimate is one of my favourite coasters so I guess my tolerance is quite high! I also enjoyed Grand National and Wild Mouse too. However I remember my one lap on Infusion being awful, probably due to OTSRs on that ride. Also Hero at Flamingo Land was quite rough despite me riding it in its...

    Least favorite element?

Pretzel loops are my FAVOURITE element (alongside zero-g rolls). I can understand that it may be too forceful for some people but that the strong forces just makes it better in my opinion.

What manufacturer is the next to leave?

With five Sky Rocket IIs built in the past four years, Premier Rides are doing quite well. If I had to pick one I would way E&F Miler, excluding their new coaster at Playland's Castaway Cove they haven't been building much lately. I'm surprised they are still here to be honest when their...

    Lightwater Valley - Future?

I went to Lightwater Valley earlier this year, and it was busy. I don't think they will close anytime soon. I hope they can get something big in the future. There are lots of fun rides, but the only thing I wanted to re-ride was Ultimate. I hope they can get the other train back again, the...

    M&D's Tsunami derailed

Whether it reopens or not, I don't think anybody will ride that again! Honestly can't see how anybody will go back here, unlike after the Smiler crash I have seen no comments in support of the park, not even one.

Do You Support American Gun Rights?

Okay but if somebody is shooting you how the **** are you supposed to get your gun out and defend yourself? Look at countries with strict gun controls, there are far fewer shootings!

2-year-old boy killed by alligator at Disney Resort

^Yes hopefully now people will have more time to retreat if they spot a gator. But still, Disney built a beach beside a lake they knew had gators in so it was an accident waiting to happen.

How did Intamin get the Millennium Force contract?

So many people say Magnum is great. I have ridden Pepsi Max Big One. Magnum looks so much better than the Big One. As for why Intamin got the contract, they clearly had the most cutting-edge design with their cable lift, more modern trains and overbanked turns, all of which Morgan and Arrow...
