My pet hates at theme parks include queue jumping - I recall many occasions of enduring them and telling people that it isn't fair on others in the line who've been waiting patiently. Also I agree about smoking in queues and what Rachel said about people who hover near or stand just inside an...
I also have that cred as well as the awful Chance Toboggan mentioned earlier in the topic :)
Some other rare creds that I've got would be the Beastie and The Bush Beast, formerly of Wonderland Sydney which is no longer there - they were great woodies and it's a shame they've gone.
I went to...
Re: Bottom 10
Here's my selection of bad coasters in no particular order:
1. Chance Toboggan - probably the worst coaster I've been on. Just awful in every way.
2. Primeval Whirl @ Animal Kingdom - Terrible
3. Stampida @ Port Aventura - it has a good layout but is spoilt by roughness.
4...
My first drop tower was the Pepsi Max Drop which was at the Trocadero in London. I was nervous beforehand but loved it. I've always liked drop towers and will continue to enjoy them :D
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit - It had an issue that spited it for me when I went in 2010 but I expect I'll be going back to Florida again :)
That's probably the only one I can think of as I've also been lucky with creds *touch wood* :)
I believe it's Buwalda who also own two of the other coasters at Winter Wonderland (London City Coaster & Christmas Coaster (suspended Reverchon)
- From All the Fun of The Fair's report of the event :)
i've had a pretty good year with quite a few new creds (20 in total) - I'm going to do a list as below :D
New Parks
Bottons Skegness
Fantasy Island
Efteling
Toverland
Highlights
The Swarm & the ECC meet in March
The behind the scenes tour of Thorpe I did in February
Troy being amazing
My...
I think the reason it looks empty is because the event is so much better laid out this year and with the addition of it being larger, gives guests more freedom. Having said that, both times I went it was very busy but had a great atmosphere :)
I've just had two rather good visits to Winter Wonderland today and yesterday - it is much better laid out and also is probably double the size it was last year. The Wilde Maus XXL is brilliant and one of the highlights as is Air of course and Mannings Afterburner Show Time. I can confirm that...
London City coaster is quite good for what it is and if you haven't been on it before it's worth giving it a go.
Martyn, yes that is a booster - a very good one in fact :)
Winter Wonderland looks very impressive for this year and I'm looking forward to going :)
I like the bag-office type approach if I want to leave my bumbag which normally has my valuables inside but also, combat style trousers with zip pockets are a necessity for me as well.
KMG's Mission Space - I'd heard all about it beforehand and knew it was a crazy ride but seeing it up close was another matter entirely! I experienced similar anxious feelings prior to riding it, but once it started, I began to enjoy it and it was really good :)
Although they usually get bad reviews, and there have been awful ones I've been on, there are 2 SLC's that I enjoyed which were Kumali & Jubilee Odyssey :)
Superman Escape has an excellent pre-launch section and the themeing really added to the experience - the rest of the ride is also fab - it's still my joint top coaster along with Blue Fire :)
